That may be true but when you come to America you should learn English. just the same as if an American went to Mexico you wouldn't teach them in English now would you?
I say speak Spanish all you want but don't expect everything to be printed special just because you're too lazy to learn the language everyone else in America speaks ..
you don't see European immigrants wanting us to print everything in German or Italian do you? the answer is no. so stop wining about it and learn some English.
And before anyone says it I'm not racist, I have no problems with Mexicans coming here to work either legally or not . as long as they're trying to live a honest life in America to help their family .

I'm Mexican and I do not agree with that. If you come to live to this Country you must learn English, no matter if you speak Chinese, Spanish, French or venutian.

Only because Americans, and America are called racists, and bigots if Spanish speaking Mexicans do not learn the English language. And Organizations like La Raza, and MeChA threaten to sue on their behalf for discrimination. So it's not that there is a great demand for Spanish media. Only being crammed down Americans throats, and resonating in Americans ears. Much like the "Reform Bill" Americans don't want either.

Wait a minute...don't they already receive this in public school? My friend used to be an elementary school teacher in the heart of East LA and she spoke Spanish half the time (it was required). And you wonder why there's such a high rate of high school dropouts in that area. It's a shame.

I do not understand why someone would want to live in a nation where the vast majority of people speak English and not learn English.

Personally, I think we should be educating every child in English first, then make them learn two other languages before graduating high school. Another European language and if possible, a non-European language.

No, it would be much better for you to learn English....You will have much more opportunities opened to you...! It boggles my mind when people refuse to learn English in this country...I work with a legal resident, he is a very hard worker, has his own business, but doesn't speak English!? Imagine how much more business he would get if he spoke English?
