The true culprits are the corporations in the country, same as the U.S. Corporations seek to maximize profit, and so seek the cheapest labor possible as opposed to maximizing productivity. The laws of a country that protect domestic labor do not affect most immigrants, who are generally willing to work "under the table" for a deflated wage. Thus, the citizens of the country must lower their own standards (wage stagnation) while at the same time facing rising costs in every sector of their life, such as welfare, property, and taxes in general. Thus, they can no longer live legitimately under the system that was set up to protect them.

I wouldn't quite go that far, but it's absolutely true that this country has an oversized share of layabout spongers. Sit in a benefits office for ten minutes and you will hear some of THE most imaginative excuses for why someone can't possibly start a new job.
I used to live in Aberdeen. The fish factories there are largely staffed by eastern European workers who get paid a rate somewhat higher than national minimum wage.
You know why these factories have immigrant workers? Because the locals wouldn't work in a fish factory for that money.
So to keep from going under the factory owners announced they would be recruiting from eastern Europe, and were immediately ripped to shreds for it, which they completely ignored because it was the only staff they could get.

It's the same everywhere. The natives won't work because it's better to sign on every week, and then the immigrants get the blame for turning up and 'taking our jobs.'

I'd suggest cutting benefits to a level that's just exactly what you need to survive. Not enough for beer, ciggies, nights out, nothing. That might encourage the sponging gits to get off their lazy chav like behinds and work for a living instead of having the state supply it.
Don't tell me there aren't any jobs. I've been out of the Navy for three weeks, and I've got one already. I'm not skilled or qualified in any way that's particularly relevant to civilian jobs, but I've got off my *** and found one because I've been unemployed, once, and it's the most depressing thing in the world.

Your hard working foreigners are probably EX Eastern block workers who are working very hard for very little money and a lot of the time illegally, which is why they have no benefits, weather it is their fault or the unscrupulous employer we don't know, but trying to get people to work for peanuts by exploiting foreign labour is not going to help any one, and as for thousands of foreign workers who are supposed to be here and working happily, why are they allowed in if the country has a high unemployment problem.

personally i feel we do let in too many migrants and they are taking away jobs from the British people it is harder to get a job now then it was 20 year ago .. did you 7/10 people in the UK think we let in too many migrants ?

Perhaps, but this is a time of plenty when unemployment is low.
So, what about the born and bred Brits who can't get a house, can't get their child into a local school, have longer waiting NHS times, can't register for a doctor or dentist; these are valid points you chose to omit!
What happens when jobs become scarce when we have a recession ?
One final point, I'm not so worried about Brits too lazy to find jobs on the Jeremy Kyle show, more worrying are the lazy Brits who have the spare time and the intellect to watch this garbage while they sit on there ar**s watching a minority of the population, many with mental health or learning difficulties being put on TV for your entertainment !

How many of those good, hard-working immigrants are in Britain illegally?
Did they illegally enter the country? Do they use fraudulent document, after fraudulent document to present to their employers every time they're told the last set of documents are forged?
Are they deported again and again only to come back and try to murder your soldiers or to actually rape school children when they're in school?
