Does anyone else wish they could emigrate from Britain ?

Millions of Brits have left in the last 350 years. Maybe you should too!
Or maybe you should stay and try to make it a better place.
What you should not do is allow foreigners to take over your country.
Why on earth do you allow all those Asians and blacks into your country? You certainly do not need more people.

If you have a problem with other people coming to your country; what makes you think that another country's people want you? That being said, I believe that immigration is fine as long as you are willing to adapt to the other country's language and culture.

Stop wishing and do it, it's not difficult. You do know the EU immigration laws work both ways don't you?

so many people have emigrated from the UK, but a huge percentage have come back (especially from Australia), i think the highest "stay rate" is Canada

we do have a lot to moan about here in Britain, but having/had many friends in the Navy and Armed Forces they nearly all say the same "thank god im back in Britain", one said to me it was like a ten ton weight leaving his shoulders when he came back (not from being away for to long but being back on British Soil)

think the only real plus with moving abroad is for a great contract job or if your in business

The UK is slowly becoming a nation of immigrants, poor pensioners, underpaid overworked people with a few people at the top making fortunes. Our unemployed wont find jobs until manufacturing returns. That will be when we pay the same or less than India and China. However, in order to do this, we have to have a similar living standard, and that is where we are heading. The rot started with the unions in the 60's, continued in the Thatcher era and then with Bliar (I note that they both exited the UK asap for the USA, they voted with their feet). The UK has been well and truly done over, and the immigrants that come here wouldnt get into the USA, Canada, Australia etc. but they come here, get use our benefit system and are tigers when it comes to getting every break going. If things get tough, they cry Racism. We have given the country away and our grandchildren are going to wonder what the heck Great Britain was all about.
