Does illegal immigration benefit the US in any way?

I hear everybody saying that illegal aliens do ALL the jobs that nobody else will do.
1) Meat packing: raid and jobs filled by Americans
2) Transformer manufacturing: raid jobs filled by Americans
3) Why then do Americans fill the jobs after the companies get raided?
4) Only criminal invaders will pick fruit: only 2% of illegal aliens work in agriculture. The price of apples is not going to skyrocket. Americans will do those jobs too! You just have to pay them a livable wage and employers will have to pay taxes, etc.
5) Illegal immigration does no one except crooked business any good!

There are no benefits in any way whatsoever. Apologists for illegal aliens who claim they "do jobs Americans won't do" or "keep down the price of food" are lying. They have been proven wrong time and again and still try to befuddle the ignorant and the lazy who won't research the facts. Immigration-law violators do nothing but harm to the citizens of any country whose laws they violate.

It is a terrible burden on all Americans. Illegals take jobs Americans can & WILL do. Our schools are over crowded , health care costs going up & wages continue to be stagnant. The only ones who benefit are the company's who hire them & get cheap labor.

It's absolutely fabulous for a corporation's bottom-line. Why go through the hassle of moving operations to Mexico or China when you can take advantage of the illegal immigrants running around your own neighborhood who are willing to do the job for half of minimum wage? I suppose that the government had to do something (i.e. open our borders wide open so illegals could come in) so that ALL businesses wouldn't go to Mexico, China, or India. P.S. From what I've heard, illegals work hard for about a year or two, and then you have to yell and threaten them like any of the legal workers.

NO illegals DO NOT do the jobs everyone else won't. how the hell can we when they are taking over? i can't find a damn job, and i'm willing to do anything.
it's because they work cheaply, only because our money is worth more in mexico.
how are we supposed to survive if the people that have 10+ years of job experience can't even find a job?
we should worry about our own country and people first, then help others with their resources.

Corporations are making HUGE profits because their labour costs (low wages & no benefits) are very low.

So it benefits the shareholders and the rich people.

Does not benefit the middle class (whats left of it) and the poor people.

People love to say that it will keep the cost of food down by having illegals pick apples or tomatoes or other fruit or vegetables. Well the market keeps the price down. Food (apples etc.) can only go as high as the market is willing to bear. There comes a point when people will not buy a product because it gets to be too expensive. it only helps the greedy businessmen who make more of a profit off of selling apples picked by illegals.

For example last year a friend of mine had his roof re-shingled and the roofer gave him a decent price. The owner of the business had illegals working for him and he paid them in cash. The roofers got $150.00 a day off the books. This is more profit for the businessman because the owner does not have to pay SS or other payroll taxes for American workers. If he had American workers he would still have to pay a similar amount to his American workers but his profit margin would not be as high since he has more overhead expense. The Customer could not pay more money so the roofer would not be able to charge more because the market will only bear so much.

Another thing. Two years ago when we had the spinach scare because of the e-coli outbreak it was found out that immigrant workers had defecated on the spinach and the spinach then went into

Also the Taco Bell scare was done by immigrant workers who did not use sanitary procedures on purpose. Also this spring we had the tomatoe scare.

All these things are happening since the Federal Government began increased deportations of illegal aliens over two years ago.

if you do a google search there was a governmnet report saying that the congress realized that the outbreaks of food poisonings were a reaction to the increased deportations of illegal aliens.

Also people who say that they (the illegals, immigrants) do jobs that Americans won't do well they should ask themselves who did these jobs before the illegals came. Who worked in restaurants before the Mexicans came..... Who worked in the food processing plants in the 1920's 1930's 1940' 1950's etc before all the illegals started comming in the 1970's

Who worked in constructing the bridges and the highways and all the houses that were built before the 1970's influx of illegal aliens. Who built the planes in the factories that helped us win ww2. Who built Hoover dam in Nevada....... Who built the Erie canal in New York. state.

so remember the same roof workers who were immigrants being paid in cash now can get food stamps medicaid for themselves and their children and if they live in the suburbs then they rent a basment in a house and send their 4 or 5 kids to Public school without paying taxes while American citizens then have to pay more property and school taxes becasue these people don't pay.

Also even if some illegals pay taxes their salaries then are usually very low and they are elegible for the earned income tax credit from the IRS and for a person with kids then they get $6,000.00 extra dollars for an income of up to $32,000.00. so if you as citizen earn maybe $50,000.00 then after all the taxes that the govenment takes out of you City state and Federal) then you take home about $32,000. But the illegals and other low paid immigrants earn $32,000.00 pay a little bit of taxes and then get $6,000.00 extra refund so they wind up with more spending money that you as the higher paid American working class tax payer.

As the expression goes, "God what a country!" Where the politicians treat the foreigners better than the citizens........

Will Barack Obama change this crazy situation. Since he is always talking about change. Well let him change this crazy situation.

We know John Wayne McCain will not do it. Lets' see if Barack will do the right thing for the American working class taxpayer......

No, I can't think of any true benefit to this country. We have mentally challenged citizens who are losing their menial labor jobs to illegals. We have millions of potential immigrants who apply legally and there reward is to put them at the end of the line. We are rewarding lawbreakers and when they get caught and they are deported we hear their sob stories. Did it ever occur to the pro-illegals that the people who are waiting patiently in line have their own stories filled with strife and tragedy? Legal immigrants have a chance to improve not only their own lives but the life of our country. Illegal immigrants are doomed to a lifetime of living in the shadows and they only thing that can contribute to is the rising crime rate simply because of their status.

IRS collects taxes from illegals, good workers, buy products and homes/cars, etc. the illegals i know have always paid for health care out of THEIR pockets.
