Yea, and it also ticks me off that they come over, pop out anchor babies every year and then collect welfare. They crowd the schools, won't assimilate, think they are entitled to everything, break laws, I could go on and on. The borders need to be secured. Who knows another psycho 9/11 person couldn't stroll through the Southern border. |

Yes, I was dying to use my college degree to pick crops in a border town for less than minimum wage. The perks are what really draw me in--the 50+ hours a week, the lack of benefits. The pesticides.
It's really a bummer that I can't have that job. |

Dont forget that its not only latinos that come over here... there are asians, europeans, indians, you name it. Illegal latinos arent taking no ones jobs it just that they are willing to do the job no matter how much is paid. They work hard and earn their money, in any case, you should be bothered with the American companies that hire them.... latinos dont force anybody to hire them right??? |

Oh yes it bothers me so much. I would love to work under the hot sun and working in construction getting my hands dirty getting paid $8 an hour. Oh the agony.

Well if we are going to pick on the Latinos why not pick on the ones from india. That take jobs over here and are sent there so when we call about are phone or any other thing and get people we can't even understand.Yes in a way it does but most of them do the jobs we could care less about doing. Like picking apples or any thing to do with things that are less important to us.I think if they want to work they need to pay just like we do.Having to pay texes and not living offen welfare.I think there is enough jobs to go around for every one if they would stop sending are jobs over in other states and over seas.Look at the people living off welfare and we have to pay them.Why pick on the ones that want to work hell they are not even geting what the are worth. |

A friend of mine is a Hispanic. He lives in a tiny remote area in Mexico, that his ancestors have lived in for many years. Everyday, he walks seventeen miles to go to work. He cuts sugarcane, carries it on his back to the truck, for eleven hours a day, seven days a week. Then, walks seventeen miles back home. He makes what would be $ 11.00 dollars a day in US money. How many Americans do you think would be willing to do this? The problem is not that Latinos, Hispanics, etc. are taking our jobs away. The situation is that they are willing to do the jobs in America that some Americans are too lazy to do, or some Americans feel are beneath them. And you're right, they are cheap labor compared to most of us. Because most Americans would not consider working some of these jobs which pay such little wages, but require such hard work. Maybe we need to take a lesson from these Latinos, Hispanics, etc. and put a little more 'work ethic' into ourselves. |

It bothers me more that American employers hire them. It bothers me that any illegal alien is not deported immediately when arrested. It doesn't bother me that they are latino. |

It upsets me because they are breaking the law if they are here illegally and our government refuses to protect our borders.
It bothers me that employers will go against the law and hire them.
it is sad when American citizens and legal residents need to compete for Jobs and resources against people here illegally.
Now we the citizens are just as desperate as those who came here because they were desperate.
It is insulting to tell us these are jobs Americans do not want . It is a lie.
We have the legal means to admit workers to the usa if and when we really do need them for certain jobs.
I do not care what race the people are. I do not like any kind of race discrimination. I am just against all of the above . |
