Does the us constituition apply to non us citzens?

does it apply to people like the prisoners in Guantanamo bay?

Obama is a socialist
What a crock. RIGHTS are erased for ILLEGAL immigrants? Like criminal rights? Is that what you mean. The constitution applies to LEGAL us citizens and immigrants. ILLEGAL immigrants are not protected by our constitution nor our laws and should be booted out. Also for the person above me. SHOW ME where the constitution says ANYTHING about terrorists. You MIGHT find something in the bill of rights. MAYBE you should read them FIRST before opening your yap.

The Constitution is only for US citizens or those legally within US borders. Not illegal immigrants, not prisoners of war or conflicts, not for terrorists that come into the nation. It really is that simple, but many have forgotten this because of all the people screaming they have rights under the constitution who really do not.

The left wing is sure trying to make it that way

If they are in America legally and in good standing it does. As for the prisoners in Gitmo, they are people that have either killed American solders and Marines are at least attempted to and deserve none of the rights they hold in contempt.

Where the US Constitution applies to US citizens in particular, the word "citizen/s" is used explicitly. Uses of "people" applies to _all_ the people present in the US or jurisdictions thereof, unless specified elsewhere, e.g. the 2nd amendment applies to US citizens, and legal permanent residents.

The people who claim that the Constitution does not apply to non-citizens scare me. This is how rights are erased.

The US Constitution is intended to apply to ALL people who are within our borders, legally or illegally. There are stipulations within it to deal with terrorists, illegal immigrants, and prisoners of war - including suspension of habeas corpus and the actions in placing prisoners in Gitmo - that was NOT against the Constitution. People may not have liked it, but it was legal.

Do not be so quick to claim that some other group does not deserve rights. You might find that you're next.
