Does this make me a Pro illegal and an Anti American?

I have read your other questions so I think the best category for you would be pro-amnesty...not necessarily pro-illegals since you want to close the borers, no welfare to illegals, etc.

I don't think you are anti-illegal either since you want illegals (the ones without gang affliation) to stay in the U.S.

Correct me if I'm wrong. You want to give legal status to the illegals and eventually let them apply for citizenship but at the same time you want to close the borders, create a system to track visa overstayers, etc?

Some will label you a racist hate monger, not me. There is nothing wrong with anything you mentioned. If someone wants to enjoy the benefits of America, they should become an American citizen.

It is the parts you left out that people won't like.

If I had all of that, and throw in some education funds to put back the programs we've had to cut from our schools, and funds for hospitals, I'd be fine. The bills aren't addressing the impacts or issues to US, however.

As everyone has stated before me, you are Anit-illegal.

My two cents: I don't buy into the 'they do the jobs american won't do' argument. Sure they'll work the manual labor and the lousy wage jobs. However when you make that argument you're saying that you're okay with basically dooming a large group of human beings to little more than servitude. How is that the American Dream? Short answer: it's not.

By all means come to this country(legally), but do yourself a favor; learn the language, obtain an education, pay your share of the taxes, bring the best parts of you culture, leave the parts that don't work behind, obey the laws and the sky is the limit.

With all the politcal furor behind this most polarizing of issues is the fact that these are human beings, not political bargaining chips, nor are they criminals coming to bilk the country of resources and leave.

it actually makes you a real american. these things help and protect our country from crime and other societal problems. those that call you names for wanting this are the real anti-americans because they dont give a hoot about all the problems illegals cause to america as a nation and american citizens. we are the victims of their crimes and sapping of resources put in place for us with our tax money. using the race card and sob-stories about their poverty in another country are paper thin attempts to sidetrack the real issue of lawbreaking. i abide by all the laws and so should they-even if they are not white or if their family is poor elsewhere in the world. i would say the same for the white canadians too if they were doing this. its about respect and fairness.

So what is your stand on people who are here on valid work visa or a green card? They are people that have valid jobs, pay into the social system, they pay their taxes just like the next guy? Why should they not be entitled to the social benefits? Just because they are not yet a citizen?

As long as you don't give away the whole house, I might warm up to your idea. I want to know your idea on making it fair for people from other countries having opportunity over Hispanic, and Latino countries. I mean to be fair from my point of view - others for the time being should be allowed in until the country is balanced again for allowing all the past mass majority of illegals (Hispanics, and Latinos) having been granted amnesty in the 1980's. Then cap each of them off at an even set number annually.

In Australia - once they accept your application, and notify you, you have one year to get your stuff in order, and must be on Australia soil within a year. If you miss the expiration date they give you, you start over. So to be fair U.S should follow same policy as Australia. That should move the line up a bit faster for those to come legally.

i think that having a better border is a perfect idea of stoping illegal immigration. you have my vote on that but on seperating family members because of deportation is not with my vote. i love australia
