Not quite. Service capacity can't be expanded fast enough to keep pace with increased demand - things like schools and hospitals aren't built in a day.

No! It means cheap labour for the construction industry so all teh qualified people who charge more for their services are put out of a job.

No, it means a lowering of the standards that we are used to. Cheap labour, shoddy work. Over population of a small island, more of our natural resources going. More on dole, more on welfare, more hitting the NHS, more wait to see doctors, longer waiting for hospital checks. More taken out of the economy to support them. More money leaving the UK. More English leaving the country because of them. More crime, just check the ratios in prison. More pull on meagre water resources. More cars on roads. Less choice in schools, more religion pushed at us, oh I could go on for hours.

Immigration is fine provided there are more jobs than people.

Sadly, our government is importing benefit claimants who can afford to work for lower wages (because they are on benefits) and, raising taxes to pay for the labour that is forcing certain sectors of the semi/non skilled working class out of work - and possibly into crime.

Immigrant NEED more services. And these are paid for by everyone else - even though they no longer have a job!

Any immigrants need services, but only a number of immigrants are able (due to age or health) or want (due to previous laisy lifestyles elsewhere) let alone need to create work, within a society that gives them everything they could ever ask for.

Asking these wonderful people what are they going to contribute or when are they going to return home taking any kids with them, would be a starting point for the rest of the community to stop sizzling over.

No our infastructure cannot cope with the endless low lifes pouring into this country, they are changing the face of the UK beyond recognition, our heritage and once proud culture has been eroded by them, theres no arguement for more immigrants its a huge drain, the real picture says we profit by 58p a week for each immigrant, what a total mockery this has become

Yes it means that more people need more services......which are already stretched to the limit.
It also means that the immigrants that are coming into the Country are taking jobs that the people already here could do with, and forcing the ones that already here into claiming benefits. Vicious circle really. And it will get worse with the present economic climate as Companies cut back or go to the wall.
The government have to say no more. Australia are a good example for immigration. Unless you have a skilled occupation, and a job to start when you get there, and something to contribute, then they won't let you in.

I really think that this, and previous governments have been so laxed on the subject, and have not really considered the consequences that we are now seeing.

Yes, and keeping the wages low puts the savings into your pocket. Get rid of all the Illegal Immigrants doing these jobs, will just mean that the companies will have to cough up more money to pay the American Citizens to do these jobs because they won't do them for the wages the immigrants are making. This will result in raising the prices of the services and even the produce you feed your family with. Prices are on the rise because of the fuel fiasco, and they will only get worst if all the illegal immigrants are deported.
