It depends. Will the hispanic population be willing to join the american culture? In Wyoming, Michigan, they drive around with big Mexican flags on the back of their cars. There are 8 mexican gangs (that i'm aware of, my cousins being half-mexican both belong to rivial gangs!), and the last 10 huge cocaine/weed drug busts were all mexican men.

Personally, at the jobs i did work at, i got along with all the mexican women and men. they are funny and have a lot of insight, but would force their wives to do strange things. things that people come over to america to escape.

The politicians in america don't want them here for the same reasons others would. they want their money and they want their votes because they come in large numbers. that sounds weird, but that's the motive to fight for their freedom. if they didn't offer these things, they wouldn't care. i.e- they aren't pushing to get zambian villagers here who have it WAY worse off than mexico.

My question is this: what is going wrong in mexico that they want to leave their precious prided nation so bad? why don't they push (force) their government to make drastic changes like they do here?

also, i'm sick of hearing that american's wouldn't do the jobs that they do. the jobs are low-paying because they rely on cheap illegal-immigrant laborers to fill them. shoot, if i could get paid $12/hr to pick apples or to sweep manure, i would. this being said, i have a bachelors' degree, a mortgage, a wife and two sons, but am struggling to find a job that pays enough to make ends meet. the workplace just isn't looking for white males anymore. theres no incentive to hire us.

Only because they're doing the jobs that Americans feel they're too good to do, such as housekeeping and fast food jobs. I don't mind them being here, so long as they speak english, are legal, and don't add to the number of ugly Hondas rolling on the streets. However, they should limit the number allowed into the country each year.

as long as they learn English. this is America and they need to learn our language. we go to there country we have to learn there language, so learn ours. also they don't have to go into stores five at a time and stop stealing food or cloths in there pockets, and we Americans have to pay more because of them stealing things. also there is nothing wrong with them speaking there language when they are together but learn English. like the Russians they come to America don't speak English but learn to to say food stamps and welfare and we as Americans can not get it.

Base on census estimate by 2050, "white" people would be a minority which is good for the white race. They could finally have affirmative action in their favor. Since white would be a minority, they could get jobs, government contracts, loans, and scholarship for college under affirmative actions for minorities. Since white would be a minority, they could have white people clubs in schools, which is not allow it this time.
In California, Texas, and New Mexico, Hispanic already make up more than 30% of the population. And they are nice place to live.
By 2050, base of cenus estimates, Hispanics would make up 25% of the population.

we should let anyone that wants to come here by passing a test of intelligence and integrity. this will weed out the lazy and the stupid both immigrants and Americans should take the test. Just being born somewhere should not give you automatic privileges. I know this wont happen but its just the thought that counts
