The system is not flawed. It verifies the legitimacy of a persons citizenship when applying for a job. It's a great way to deter illegal immigration.
People come here illegally because they can find work and can earn more than they would earn in their homeland. But, if you eliminate the ability of them to find work, then living here is not sustainable and they won't come or they'll leave.

The problem is that it's not mandatory for all employers hiring new employees.

Let's throw it in the can! it's a very flawed project and I believe I've told you this a few times Joel. Why do people like you keep pushing for projects that are proven NOT TO WORK? It's even putting US Citizens at risk of either not getting hired, or even getting deported.

Your link to the Az Republic doesn't work. I guess people still don't get it, Congress is not interested in shoving anything down throats. They are interested in the money illegal labor and all of that uncollected Social Security and Federal Income Tax everyone claims illegals don't pay. If they had wanted to stop the illegal flow they would have done it 20 years ago. Just keep blaming the illegals for something we allowed to happen, it makes such good sense.
