Engineer visa Vs Labor Visa?

Though i am an engineer, i got labor visa. But all the work and benefits will be as per agreed.
I like to know, whether it is possible to leave the company whenever i want later on? After how many months, i can join other company. Please suggest.

In what country? seems like u are in Saudi Arabia. You can of course change jobs but status of visa never changes in Saudi Arabia, unless u get a new visa with different status, return to ur country & have new visa stamped & then return.

Normally u cannot change employment for one year, but depends upon ur contract. I am not updated with Middle East Labour laws. My information is old, please check with local authorities there.

You look like in a Middle Eastern Country, where doctors and engineer are exported on labor visas. You better stay with your current employer for at least one year. Use your engineer's qualification certificates to change your visa status. Once your labor status is changed to Engineer, you can then change your sponsor to join other company. Produce a demand letter from your new employer and if your current employer agree will give you a release letter. You can then apply with the Immigration office for transfer of sponsorship. If everything goes well, you may achieve your objective within two years or so.
