Every American needs to do this, and commit to it, to fight the wave of illegals.?

Every American needs to commit just ONE day to going down to the border, and help build the wall. If even only a third of the country did that, we could have that wall built in a week. The minutemen are already doing it, but they can't do it all by themselves. You don't need any special skills to help. They need people to just bring stuff to them, or pour concrete, or dig. What they need you to do can be taught to you in five minutes. So if you can't go down there, please donate to the minutemen so that they can do it for you. And illegals can't help, we want the wall to actually work, not a wall that has secret holes in it so you can sneak your friends over.

Everyone asked for a link to the minutemen, just search them on yahoo, it will bring up their page, and they have a site to donate money to building the wall, as to them wanting people to go down there, I am sure that they will not turn away help. There are a couple minutemen on here, so I will let them answer that.

To anyone who is against the USA building a fence or wall:
Concertina wire is pretty effective as a deterrent. Add more Border Patrol, National Guard and volunteers like the Minutemen, stiffer penalties, deny them jobs, welfare, free medical and housing, penalize anyone who hires them or houses them, they will either stop altogether or at least slow down to a controllable trickle. They might come, but it won't be to the paradise they think it'll be!!

Once we slow down the influx our border will be strengthened further. We can do many things at the same time. We are capable of multi-tasking. All things together will stop illegal immigration. They will have no reason to come here, unless they are gluttons for punishment.

There will always be people who break laws and go against rules. Most will be caught and punished. Most people follow rules and laws because they don't want the punishment and they know those laws/rules are there to make life better and fair for everyone. Even though 'some' will break those laws, can you imagine how our country would be if we had no laws? You can't just ignore laws because 'some' choose to break them. They must be held accountable for their criminal activity. The same is for illegal immigrants. They broke our law. They must be punished. Deportation is more 'humane' than prison, wouldn't you think? By deportation they can go back to their homeland and live with their people. Prison would take away all their freedom and put them in a confined space. Do illegal s really desire that? I don't think so. They should accept defeat, go home and get a life. Stop freeloading on the USA.

Anyone else who is a traitor to the USA can join them in their southerly trek across the border.

Thats a good Idea, but I am too lazy to help, however I would be happy to pick up some illegals at home depot and have them work on the fence, I'll even buy them mcdonalds for lunch if they work hard enough.

How about this, all the registered voters here on Q&A contribute 2.00$ to a fund held in trust by our friend and sponcer YAHOO! and use that money to facilitate the construction of a section of the WALL.

Building a wall is such a bad idea. Gezz we just celebrated the Berlin Wall coming down back in the 80's are we now going to shoot people if they get too close to the WALL because they are looking for FREEDOM.
