Extension of 4 yr UK Ancestry Visa for Indefinate Leave to Remain?

I am from NZ, have a 4 yr UK ancestry visa and need a 1 yr extension to apply for ILR. Can I do this and how much? We are a family of 5 (children's ages being 18yrs, 16yrs and 5yrs).

Yes you will need to extend it for one more year, since now ILR is given after 5 years of stay. Technically it should be free of charge, since the rule was changed after you had ur visa, but I have heard that some people have been charged Â£205 per application. So I'd suggest u ring HomeOffice & get a confirmation from them.
