Hi, I came as a F1 visa.I went out of status for a month because not able to register for classes.
Now, I think i want to marry my girlfriend who is US citizen .
Does Marrying my girl right now helps me in anyway to change status?

Yes, you can stay and adjust status.
After you get married.....
US citizen spouse files I-130, I-864 and G-325A.
You file I-485, I-131, I-765 and G-325A.
You file ALL the forms at the same time, in the same envelope. Cost to file $1,365.
Use your receipt from USCIS to prove your pending status. Keep the receipt with your passport. You are 100% legal from the time you file everything.
