F1 Visa Interview on a Watered Passport?

Hi,
My Indian passport got a little wet sometime back, all the text are clear but the lamination over my printed photo is coming out making it somewhat unclear. But Last year I got B1 Visa on the same state of passport..though I could'nt use it.
Now I am going for an F1 Visa Interview next week and will certainly be using it in fall this year. Since I already have a B1 and that also has my photo which is very clear, I dont think I should have a problem in getting Visa..am I correct?
Can immigration cause a problem? I have already travelled multiple countries apart from US so that shouldnt be an issue...any takes??

Just wanted to add...my Visa is scheduled next week...so should i
1) go ahead with this passport in the interview and if the consulate says visa granted but need a new pp then get a new one
or
2) cancel this visa appointment and get a new pp but this might take 45 days ..so am a bit worried bout my visa

considering that you'll be using this passport the entire time while in the US on your student visa, don't you think it would be prudent to get a new one, rather than take any risk with the consulate or US immigration at the airport over the life of your stay? |

Since you have enough time, why can't you get a new booklet? Carry the old one with the new passport to your Fall interview. |

If your interview is next week than stick to this passport. You wont have any problem in general but you never know what kind of mood the consulate officer is in.
But you should do just fine... |
