Fingerprints redone. how long for green card?

My husband received his green card in mail 2 week back. One week back, I received a letter from USCIS saying that I need to get my fingerprints done again. I got them done today. How long will it take for them to send me my GC. I am leaving US and want to apply for reentry permit and so I am in a hurry to get the GC. Can I apply for reentry permit from outside US.
Additional Details
If I do have to leave US for a few months, can i return back on my green card (sent to my address and forwarded to me by a relative)

Nooooooooo! don't leave the country without a green card or everything you had done was for nothing.

Once the fingerprint are done could take 30 days at most. Just wait, or you can be sorry.

You don't know if something is going to happen in the last minute, and you're not in the country.

You cannot apply Reentry permit outside. You must apply in US and finish finger print in US. You do not actually have to have approval notice. That can be mailed to you.

If your process is not finalized for your I-551 permanent resident (green) card you cannot leave the U.S. without an I-512 advance parole. You must apply (unless you already have) on a Form I-131.
