Given the fact that we are left with the lesser of "WHO CARES?", I may just do a write-in for Mickey Mouse.
And this is the best we have...
God help us. |

Both parties need the Hispanic vote....so nobody (neither McCain, Hillary, or Obama) are going to really do anything significant about immigration....
the border will remain open as ever and the wages of semi skilled jobs will continue to drop. |

None of the above!! They are all weak on illegal immigration because they all need hispanic votes. I thought only US citizen can influence the government but I guess regardless of your status, if your loud enough, you can get your voice heard loud and clear.
I think it's time for the americans to think about the people here. Illegal is illegal regardless of race. There should be no tolerance of illegal immigrates what so ever. I understand they seek for better opportunity but US is not and should not be a refugee for those developing and third-world countries. |

If I have to choose the lesser of two evils.. I am unsure, Hope it is not between Hillary and McCain...If I vote McCain.. he will have to appease the Repub party..so It may be him..I get icky thinking about it. I may just write in Ron Paul, because November is a long way away..so much can happen until then. |

I feel our choices are bad and worse how much of the illegal population should be allowed to vote none in my opinion .We need someone in office that is going to do something before this country is completely destroyed just for thoseif any that think its ok for people to come into this country without haveing a health check look atthe increase of leporasy and drug resistant tb and MRSA deaths each year that are just increasing |

Yes, there are choices! It's time to find a new presidential candidate.
Now that it is clear that the GOP presidential candidate will be the notorious proponent of amnesty for illegal aliens, Senor Juan McCain, we patriotic Americans who favor enforcing our immigration laws and deporting the 20 million illegal alien invaders occupying our country face a tough choice. We simply cannot vote for McCain, and the Democrat alternative is just as bad, or worse, if Obama is the candidate. I am suggesting that you all abandon the illegal-alien loving candidates of the two main parties, and seek a third party candidate to support for the presidency.
There is a movement to support our strongest ally, Lou Dobbs, for president, and Dobbs is someone we should definitely consider. Lou Dobbs for president: http://www.loudobbs4president.net/
If mayor Bloomberg decides to run as an Independent, we cannot support that amnesty-supporting liberal, either. It would be better to support someone who has little chance of winning the election, than to not vote at all or voting for the lessor of two great evils. By supporting someone who favors enforcing our nation’s immigration laws, and who opposes amnesty, we can get our message out to the clueless American public.
It is time for a third party.

I think everyone is against ILLEGAL immigration. But there are many here, who are very racist, and xenophobic, who are against immigration period.
I think all of the candidates want to stop ILLEGAL immigration, and secure the border. The question is which one is going to do it best? I think since the Republicans did pretty much nothing about it, the next best bet is with Obama. |

unfortunately none of the leading candidates has a strong position on this. They all are pandering to the Hispanic vote. Romney was the only one who spoke out about stopping it.
I will be voting for McCain altho I do not agree with all of his positions. None of them can accomplish what they promise. With a divided Congress we will continue to have political game playing. |

Easy. Senators and Congressman that understand that it will be the end of their political career to give anything but deportation and enforcement of our laws to the illegals. That's what has worked thus far and that is what will continue to work. |

This is why we need forced abortion since most Mexicans are Catholic and they don't believe in abortion. This will also stop the Chinese and many of them are coming here because of China's forced abortion policy. |

I dont know anyone out there who is "for" illegal immigration, but views differ on how to solve the problem.
No candidates out there will solve the issue, so I dont take that into consideration when voting.
Did you know that more Americans will be executed tomorrow than those on Sept. 11? Without a trial or a say their lives will be taken. Vote to protect life and end abortion! |

a vote for any candidate (be they Republican, Democrat, Independent, whatever) will NEVER "solve" this "problem" of "illegal" immigration. the only reason these people come is cause they have a much better shot at providing for their family on a menial minimum wage here than they do earning 10x less in their native country. they'll only stop coming when their countries are willing and able to provide for all their citizens.
would you equally criticise an American father for sending his family to live in Mexico while he remained here earning his mediocre wage and sending all the extra he could to his family where that money will go much further? would Mexico be justified in forcing this man to keep his family in the USA where they would live in poverty but could live a middle-class lifestyle there? this exact scenario happens all the time when people retire and move to countries where the standard/cost of living is much lower. would those countries be justified in rejecting these residents merely cause they weren't born there?
I suggest to all of you hipocrites that are so against "illegal" immigration that you seriously consider how CHEAP your food and homes and general services are. would you be able to afford a head of lettuce picked by an American born citizen? but wait - anyone born in the good ol' USA would never even consider such a labor intensive job anyway - which is why we have this "problem" in the first place! |
