Frontalier permit question?

Hi all,

I am a German passport holder and my wife is an Indian passport holder with 3 years visa for Germany (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) and a 5 year "Permant Residency" visa for UK.

Now I have tho opportunity to get transferred to Geneva and my company is helping me with the permit.

I want to live in France and work in Geneva. I was told that, because my wife is a non-eu national, we both can't have the Frontalier permit.

Because the rent and living costs are much lower in France I want to live in France and work in Geneva.

My wife will be staying at home and not go to work.

Any ideas how to deal with this situation?

you should go to these and search how to get your wife there. I am sure there is a way.
