Ok... So my grandmother was born and raise in germany but left just before WWII. I don't know if she still has her citizenship but... anyway. She is still alive but i would like to know if i am eligible to get a citizenship and what the processes and requirements are.

If neither of your parents is a citizen of Germany, I don't think you can obtain German citizenship. Germany has very complicated laws concerning dual citizenship and there are only a few people who can get dual citizenship anyway. |

No, one of your parents would have had to be a German citizen at the time of your birth. And you would have to denounce your American citizenship before you could get German citizenship |
