PRO: All of America is made up of imigrants. Why should we deny someone else? Every man is born with such inalineable rights as the pursuit of happiness. That's all these ppl are doing. Pursuing happiness. They simply want to make a better life for themselves and their families.

Con: America can't take care of the world. It was an ILLEGAL that got the border control agents in trouble. If they want to come over here so bad, they can do it leagally.

Pro: America only allows so many imigrants to come over hear every year. In the meantime these ppl have to suffer in their own country.

Con: Sorry: I didn't make the rules. If they can't do it legally, they needn't do it. America has no room for ppl who break the law.

Anyone who can understand simple facts knows that there are NO benefits of Illegal Immigration. That's a false statement to attempt to justify their criminal actions.

Their labor isn't cheap when you add up their education, medical costs and their other burdens to social services.

CONS: TONS of them, crime! Each one of them is a criminal, that is why they are ILLEGAL immigrants. They cost this nation BILLIONS each year in medical care, education, incarceration expenses, reduced amount of taxes paid, diseases etc.....

Learn how to ask questions on a college level. Pro: Cheap slave labor. Cons: There is no way under a liberal border policy to differentiate between a farm worker and a terrorist. Most people cannot tell by looking at them. Terrorism was the original argument about border control before everybody started shouting racism. As far as your argument about how they are taxpayers, they present a minimal burden on taxpayer on a federal level. However they are a massive burden on towns and cities as far as social services etc. I refuse to be an apologist to political correctness.

con: to use your pro as a person in the agricultural business its not that as Americans we do not want to do those jobs. But we do expect a proper wage for such jobs. its not a matter of taxes i agree with you on that. but also going back to the legal system, if they are not legit how do we track them when it comes to crime. when a crime is committed they don't get punished they get exported. and now with that case against our boarder guards and the USA paying that settlement was totally wrong on all levels. its just another way for the illegals to weaken our defenses. sorry i gave more than one but i tryed to be informative not racist. Pro - Some people really are running from bad situations and not abusing the system. Usually they apply for citizenship though.

Can't narrow it to one. First, they came here illegally so what other crimes are they willing to commit. Although they are cheap labor, they are taking jobs away from legal residents and that increases welfare (more taxes needed). Because they are illegal, they are not getting paid minimum wage...If the Government makes them legal, then they must be paid minimum wage and this will open the door for more illegals to come so some owner can pay below the minimum wage.

They do not have medical insurance (because of being illegal) so they head to the emergency room for treatment and it drives the legals health care costs up (insurance premiums go up, hospitals have to increase costs because the illegals never pay their bills).

They do not have the proper immunizations, therefore some come here with diseases and pass it on to others.

Solution: The Fair tax and securing the border. Do both and they will go home because they will not be able to afford to live here and the legal citizens can find jobs.

Illegal aliens do jobs that hard working poor Americans used to do, now they give those Americans time to cash their welfare checks.
They help to keep spending on education high, as all new schools built in CA in the last 20 years are due to their population growth, this gives more control of the state to big union cartels, like the CA teachers Union, who then push massive spending bills that raise taxes on those greedy Americans. This applies to the prison guards union and every major union out there! Great right?
They keep freeway construction up, due to their driving without licenses on CA freeways, causing massive traffic build up, otherwise Americans wouldnâ€™t listen to the morning talk radio shows.
They create gangs of skin head Mexicans gangsters in the Southwest that threaten and kill Americans, this creates a greater need for police, and further tax burden on tax payers, but we get more cops (if your cities not bankrupt like most cities in CA).
They promote drug use through the illegal drug trade industry, where young Americans get their daily high, you know, to forget all these problems and concerns with our nation falling apart.
They are helping to create a third world nation in Americaâ€™s southwest, this will make the rich even richer!
They suppress wages, besides Americans are greedy, right? We donâ€™t need to send our kids to college, why would we want to live the American dream anyways!

pro. American government and powerful people benefit greatly because there is an almost inexhaustible supply of cheap labor. This is enhanced by the fact that they are criminals so they will not cause any problems and will work any hours and do any job because they are fearful of being turned in to INS. Another really big benefit is that legitimate Americans are kept under control of the government and corporations with the threat that they will lose their jobs if they don't also submit to being mindless slaves of the system. Huge benefit to rich corporate America.

con. They have no respect or loyalty to the United States and will not even bother to learn the language. They use resources carefully created for the benefit of citizens and even though they are stealing these resources, which are far better than anything they could expect in their own country, they show no thanks. There are NO BENEFITS of illegal immigration. The are destroying our economy and our country. They sponge off the taxpayer. Taxpayers spend an average of $22,400 for the illegals each year. How is that a benefit to our economy? THEY ARE BREAKING OUR LAWS!

Illegal immigration is coming into the country without a right to live and work there.

Mexicans that do not have that right, are illegal immigrants...as are Canadians or any others that enter the country in an unlawful manner.

A positive aspect (A PRO) of illegal immigration is an inexpensive labor source.
If you want a tree removed from your yard - you can pay a company 300 bucks to pull it...or two illegal immigrants 10 bucks each and a cup of coffee.

A negative aspect (A CON) is that there are a lot of unemployed people out there, that are legal citizens - whether their parentage immigrated or not (LEGALLY) - and these people wish to work - but cannot find suitable employment usually due to the lack of required education
(High School Dilpoma or GED) and they simply collect unemployment because it's the lesser of two evils.

I, for one, would rather see these Americans put to work in America...

PRO: I'ts well known that illegal workers do the jobs that americans wont do. Alot of people say they dont pay taxes, but the thing is that the people that hire those illegal workers do pay taxes, I's also known that the first tax that people pay is the salary. so indirectly, those illegal workers are paying taxes because their boss has to make the taxes declaration and deduction for the salaries he pays (To a legal or illegal worker). so i think that is a PRO, that illlegal worker helps the tax system indirectly and alot of people dont understand it, they just say they are a cancer because they dont pay taxes (wrong).

CON: Non formal comnercial activity. because they arent legal alot of them dont get good jobs or just dont get a job, so they enter in the non formal commecial activitie.
they start for example selling food made by them puting some kind of illegal mexican resaurant in their own home (in spanish is called "fonda") for the people of the area, or they sell stolen or chinnese merchandise inthe flea markets, that is a CON because they dont have any registry in the government, they just sell their merchandise everywhere, like pirate DVD's, Chinnese copied clothes and stuff like that, in latin american countries they have the same problem witn the non formal commercil activity. Pro: Illegals are historically the new form of slavery following the Civil War and distrust of large number of Chinese immigrants (leading to the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882). The Irish were also beginning to be distrusted because of their riots in New York during the Civil War (Gangs of New York based on these events). That left those of Central and South America. Illegal labor is not required to abide by labor laws. This allows the employer to increase profit margin by paying sub-standard wages, not providing healthcare, and cutting almost all benefits. Thus, illegal labor provides the cheapest labor force to cut costs and increase profit.

Con: Illegal immigrants drain public programs intended for Americans. The two main areas affected are healthcare and education. The 14 Amendment makes illegal's children legal citizens, but without the financial backing to be independent citizens. They are required to be treated at the hospital when they go, but then the unpaid bills return to the hospital and raise the cost of others who legally use it. Education is similar, in which a mass influx of English-illiterate students flood the education system. While illegals provide relatively little support to the education system in taxes, their children receive disproportional services when compared to legal Americans. As we have to accommodate the system to compensate for this influx, we cannot focus on improving the education for Americans.

This next part may sound silly and sarcastic. The people who are saying it is right or wrong was determined how ? The only reasoning I am seeing is because they say so and they insist on having things their way. A person like me than comes along and says guess what, sweetheart ,I do not agree with you.
