Hi,
I recently got my H1B visa for United States. I am a Software professional. Everyone knows there is a market recession which is affecting the world specially US.
Suugest if its worth trying to go to States on H1B.

If you have your H-1B it means you have a job in the USA. Because only an employer can make the application.
However I am suspicious as the H-1Bs for last year were all issued by September 30th, 2008 and there will be no new ones issued until after the beginning of 2010 applications on April 1, 2009.
Where did you say you got your H-1B? Did you pay any money for it? What company offered you the job and sent you the I-797 form? |

Since the H1-B visa is job specific, you have a job so I do not understand the question. Now, if you are asking whether you could lose your job in the US, then yes you could. I would make sure that your hiring company has to pay to ship you back home if you are fired. |

Things are tough all over these days. I'd say it would depend on which firm actually hired you and what their condition is. Do a little research on your own, and then decide for yourself what you think it best for you. |
