H2B Visa for Sales Manager? Very lost!?

I'm from England, 45 years old and would like to go later this year to the US to pursue my sales career. My aim is to go to the Austin area in Texas and become a sales manager. However, due to the nature of the work, a H2B visa would be required, before being transferred to H1B after a year, or two, depending on whether we are successful in the H1B lottery. My question is, would it be possible to get the H2B visa for this. Your help is very much appreciated, especially after seeing how complicated the immigration system is!

Totally unlikely that you would qualify for H-2B status. H2B is for
temporary or seasonal employment for which no US citizen is
available or qualified. A sales manager position in not temporary
in nature. For info on H-2 regulations see 8CFR 214.(h) at
uscis.gov. |

H2B is for seasonal employees. Before an employer can hire an H2B it must be proven that no US citizens are available to take the job. Right now, with millions of Americans out of work you have no chance.
H1B is for college educated professionals. Your degree must be directly related to the job in the USA. Again, the employer must prove that no US citizen is available to take the job. |
