that's not racism.. and most of the times the deportees don't pay taxes because they don't want to be found out. Everytime an immigrant goes to the US illegally, it puts a strain on our social benefits because they can still acess it without paying taxes. The already thin social benefit has to be distributed even more thinly with more llegal immigrants coming.

Countrywide is going down (your words) because they made mortgage loans to those who have bad credit, little understanding of variable rates or market trends and made loans to people without verifying income, employment, legal status, etc. They basically threw away money and now expect a bail out from taxpayers.

We all benefit when illegals are deported. Less of our money goes to pay welfare and health care costs at emergency rooms.

On homes, those who lose their homes never could afford them in the first place. They deserve it because they were trying to get something they did not deserve. This whole thing is natural in capitalism. It happened in the 1990's with the tech boom when Wall Street bid up tech stocks without ration. It happened in the late 1980's with junk bonds, another example of making loans with high risk that should not have been.

On deported parents, that is why the anchor baby practice needs to end. Allowing an illegal to come here and have a kid so it can be a citizen is wrong.

The best you can do is call names. It is a weak argument.

It's funny you mix deportation with racism. Not sure how that
fits in. How does anyone win, having someone work cheaper under the table, pays no taxes, uses emergency room or clinics for routine medical visits, uses the school system for education. Lives 2 dozen to a small house, runs down the local property values. Drives with no insurance.

In some cases, robs, rapes, murders innocent citizens. In some cases, gun runs, drug runs, people smuggling across the border. Who benefits from all this. Criminals that's all.

The people who are illegal could return to their countries in large numbers and demand changes.

Specifically speaking illegals Mexicans in the 10 million range could return and take over the government and install a true democratic system modeled after our own.

Illegals should not be buying homes in the USA - they should be doing what it takes to become a citizen the legal way or they should GO HOME! The credit crunch has absolutely NOTHING to do with illegals. If anything, our country has big problems because of the illegals coming in getting food stamps, medicaid, not paying taxes, etc.

***I am sooooo sick of these damn illegals whining that they shouldn't have to go home but they dont' want to be full citizens because then they have to pay taxes, etc. and be fully responsible for themselves - it makes me freakin' sick. GO freakin home if you don't want to go by our rules!!!!

First of all it isn't racist to want only LEGAL immigrants. Illegal immigrants commit a crime to get here, and often the majority of crimes where I live are committed by illegals. They don't respect our laws coming in nor after they live here.
Second - It benefits the country because we aren't supporting them in schools, hospitals (many have had to close because of them), and jails.

This is the most absurd slippery slope that I have perhaps ever been presented with; if they illegals are deported you will be living in a Road Warrior existence. The price of lettuce will be the trigger for a major collapse of the economy. Housing will burn like in Detroit.

Give me a break. The only people that will suffer from the illegals going bye bye will be those that sought to profit from their existence. In that case, tough luck.

Interesting concept, too bad it is incorrect. Tax dollars are paying for them to be here as it is, so how does paying just for the children add to this burden? and for that matter, what parent in their right mind would leave their children to be raised by strangers in a land they are not welcome? OK now on to the home foreclosures, this would require a person to legally own a home and lose it. If a person has no credit, no legal papers, nothing to secure a home with, most will not be able to buy one in the first place. Homes are lost because of a weak economy. You better rethink your reasoning, as it sounds like a lot of rhetoric, and a lot of excuses that are not correct. I guess landlords will suffer cause they cannot make illegal money from illegal tenants.
Finally what does racism have to do with the fact that individuals that enter any country illegally are breaking the law of that country, be it the USA or France. Those who enter illegally have no rights in the country they enter as they are not citizens. If a person enters a country legally, they will have all the same rights as a person born into that country. Simple logic.
