I was born in the US and have done many of these jobs in an effort to work my way up to a higher paying job and would do so again if needed.
I think you misunderstand the issue it is not about legal immigration it is about illegal immigration. If someone is willing to break a law that is easy to live by, how much trouble will they have living with the ones that are hard to live with, and why would we want them near us.

Will the price go up without ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS? NO, there will be plenty of people including legal immigrants to work them.

I am a carpenter and employ all races.The restaurant industry employs all races. Maintenance workers are of all races. Child care workers are of all races. The nation is approaching a vote for the leadership of the country and WE the people are about to make sweeping changes in how OUR country is operated. Well, since you do not pay taxes and get money under the table, also take away jobs from those that will do stuff like that, like homeless people might do it. You can do it cheaper, because you are working for cash under the table, and do not pay taxes, or have proper ID to track you. How much money is lost with you not paying taxes and such. You work for less than min. wage, and steal jobs from the working poor, because they cannot run back and forth from here and Mexico to live cheaper, and have American dollars go further. Also, they have to pay taxes, and cannot afford health ins. You can, because you get on things like Medi-Cal, and get everything free. My daughter who is diabetic works 12 hr shifts as a care giver to the elderly. She cannot afford health insurance and has to go to a free clinic for her insulin. She says many people steal her work because they will do housework too, which is not required for the job, but they will do it too, in addition to being a health care person, so they will beat her out of a job. She can barely afford to pay her taxes, but she does. Yes, people will do all these things, if given a chance. You also can run across the border if you kill someone here, and hide in Mexico. IT is almost impossible to get that person back here to prosecute them, as Mexico does not believe in the death penalty, so they protect them. What do you think now? Also, a lot of crime and gangs are from your people, it is in the local newspaper all the time. You do not have car ins., nor proper driver's lis. training, nor a valid license. Stay in your country, you are costing the US lots of money to carry you on the (free) books. You also do not know our language, and cannot speak most of the time to people, so now, we have to make announcements in stores, and telephone services in your language. It is like living in Mexiso in California.

*Got my own garden I plant every year and work plus while I was in highschool I picked my share of potatos and beans for a summer job.
*Have built many homes and am very good with a nail gun
*I've worked in restaurants
*Illegals make good money in my area doing maintnance
*I don't got a nanny. I have to watch my kids while my wife is at the local sock mill and She watches them while I'm at the local carpet mill
* my wife works in a sock mill and I work in a carpet mill
*The prices are not going to go up in my area because their are so few jobs that our unemployment rate is very high. After the illegals are gone employers will be forced to hire legal citizens. P.S. I've got to try and find a new job this year anyways because my plant is closing the doors and moving to another country for even cheaper labor so I have no job security. Once the illegals are gone maybe I can have an easier job finding one.

What you neglect to mention is that a person does not need to be here illegal to do these things.
What is wrong with getting to be an American the proper way?
Also, if there are no illegals here, then the companies that get rich by paying low wages would either step up, be responsible and honest, and hire out people to do the job at an honest wage,or they will go bankrupt and someone else will take over.
I believe the jobs that most people find under them can be done with new technologies, and if we have less illegal persons here, then that technology will advance, and come forward.

Not so. These jobs are open to others and there is no reason that immigrants can't legally come to the US and do what ever work they are qualified for. I live in a rural, agricultural area. Most of the workers around here coming from Mexico are legal. They live here for 5-8 months. Work very hard. The pay they receive is so much higher that they are able to return home and live a very high standard that does not require them to work until they return to the US the next spring.

Prices will never go up cuz it's ruled by offer & demand, beside the producer gets to sell it 10 times more than it had costed him cuz he pays illegals cheap. If he has to hire Americans ,he will have to pay double ,but still make a kill in profit, if he sells his produce 3 or 5 times more than it costed him & not 10 times more. GET IT ???

I doubt prices would sky-rocket, but would go up. I would gladly pay more for a product or service if I knew that Americans were doing the job and getting paid a decent wage they could live on.

I think you get the point now. It is not about immigration, it is about Illegal immigration. Most honest Americans have performed all of these jobs you have listed. As far as the price, who cares! It is about illegal immigration ! I am sure there will be an increase in prices, but, they go up regardless of who performs these jobs. So American first, support our country and secure our borders from illegal immigration is all we ask. Anyone that does not support these action is either duped by the media, or does not understand the importance of this issue to our country.

I can go to the lawn and garden store at home, buy tomato and about 50 other kinds of seeds, potting soil, and 14 or 15 pots, and have FRESH OFF THE VINE produce on my porch. Cost? Probably about $150. Illegal aliens aren't indispensable, by any means. Porch crops. Something to think about, there! LOL

Illegal Immigrants are taxing our community programs and not paying taxes. Why not become legal? Do you know how many immigrants die in our deserts every year? If we fortify our borders for security reasons then maybe all the deaths will stop. Just maybe! If they become legal the employers will have to pay them at least minimum wage. And please don't think these jobs will not get done. That's just obsurd.

You better believe people will take these jobs. People filling these jobs would certainly take the load off our welfare rolls.
Sorry, but the only ones to profit by hiring illegals are the employers and they are certainly not passing the savings on to us.
They don't pay social security, taxes, insurance on these people. They just let the rest of us pick up the bill.
