how much time i have to enter in oman after i get employment visa

When an employment visa is endorsed in the passport, they normall allow one month time to traval and enter Oman. It should have been stamped in your passport, but Arabs use Hijra Date, make sure that you travel within the times allowed, otherwise, your visa will be cancelled and you will not be able to travel.

I was working in oman. In May2011, i came back to india and resigned from here. My Employment Visa as per Resident Card is Valid as such till Jan2012. In case my ex employer cancells my Visa would I be able to come to oman or any GCC country on Employment Visa ? or Do i have to wait till Jan12 (till Resident Card Expiry) even though my ex employer cancells my Visa before Jan12 ?
