No, England has not become part of Poland. Polish people naturally flock to London because it's where all the jobs are and also London has a well established and wealthy Polish community.

The most important group of Polish people to arrived in UK, did so in the early days of World War II. Most important of this group were the Battle of Britain Fighter Pilots of the Polish Squadron. These brave pilots, many of whom went on to become Fighter Aces, shot down hundreds of Nazi bombers and fighters over southern England and the Channel.

In addition to the Polish fighter pilots, there were also many thousands of Poles who came over and served with the Free Polish armed forces who formed an important part of the Allied Armies.

Polish people are hard working, reliable and honest. I know because I have worked with them.

The main characteristics of the Poles is their natural bravery, stoicism and courage. During WW2 the Poles formed the world's biggest ever civilian army, Armee Secret and fought the Nazis to a standstill - in effect, the Polish people rose up and defeated the Nazi invaders of their country.

Poles are always welcome in UK.

Dont be so daft. Where i live we have the highest level of migrant workers in the country, whether it be polish, romanian, portuguese, but remember one thing - they are doing all the farm and factory work that other people cant be bothered to do!! They are actually keeping our economy strong so dont disrespect them they do a good job!!!

Yes, I have noticed this on trains. I have even been asked to pay for my ticket in zlotys or whatever they're called. The fact is, there are now over 287 million Poles living in London alone, and an estimated 366 million in the suburbs. No wonder the infrastructure of the coutry is at breaking point. One day, scientists believe, the Poles will colonise Mars and the rest of the solar system. The UK is just the beginning.

I haven't noticed people in England speaking Polish....
If you visit the US, you will see all kinds of people speaking all kinds of languages.

You have to consider that we went into the 1939/45 war becuase Germany invaded Poland, now Poland are invading us, will Germany be on our side this time

I don't think England has become part of Poland, but part of Poland has arrived in the UK.

I work with many of them, and I have to say, they are the nicest, smiliest, warmest people you could ever wish to meet. We have a long association with Poland, and many Poles settled in the UK after WW2......not that anyone really noticed, because they just got absorbed into society.

The Czechs, Slovaks, Lithuanians and Latvians are also very pleasant on the whole, so I reckon they are all good to have around.

I seem to have made so many Polish friends, I'm seriously thinking of taking one in rent-free, in return for Polish lessons; then I would KNOW what they say about us when they walk down the street.

I went to the supermarket the other day 12 out of 16 tills were manned by Asians and among the shoppers I was in a distinct minority as one of the few speaking in English.
