We, as people, need to "love thy neighbor". The government, on the other hand, needs to enforce the law. If they are illegal, it is a legal matter, not a personal one.
The people cannot do anything individually about illegal immigration. The government must do it. It, therefore, is not a matter of if we "read the bible", it is the governments responsibility to control immigration. |

Does it not say fallow the law of the land as well as god's law??? Breaking immigration laws is breaking the law of the land. |

nobody wants to treat them badly we are treating them better than their own country i would say . we want illegal immigration to end and for mexico to take care of their own people.
loving your neighbor and being ran over by them is two different things
Exodus 20:12-17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
Leviticous 19:11-"'Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly."
Proverbs 25:17-17 17 "Seldom set foot in your neighbor's house-- too much of you, and he will hate you."
we could both find verses on and on to support our views i also think your speech is better served to mexico dont you ? we allow people to come just get in line ! |

Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's
Prosecuting illegal aliens for their crimes is no different than prosecuting anyone that commits a crime even in God's eyes. |

It says nothing about people who broke the laws of countries to take subsidized education and services belonging to other people, does it? And it does say to obey the laws.
The aliens in the Bible were not illegal aliens. We are good to our legal immigrants. |

What about when they are burning our flag and demanding that all White people go back to Europe where we belong? Or how about them stealing OUR government benefits, and social security numbers? Is that not considered being treated poorly? |

Who cares about right or wrong in god's eyes, god himself/herself do not care other wise doing wrong should not be tolerated by god. If there is truly a god, why do some of his people suffering so much and others rolling in wealth? Why are there so much evil and killing even in god's name> |

In the U.S. the church and State are separated. Fortunately, we live in a country that does not follow everything that is stated in the bible. EYE FOR AN EYE, ha ha ha. What are we supposed to do, travel to Mexico, Cuba, Afganistan, China, Russia and deplete their social security system? Wait a minute, they don't have one. Gain entry into their country drink and drive and kill people and expect amnesty plus a quick ticket home, travel to Mexico and expect them to spend billionsteaching their educators English so they can educate my English Speaking children, Take my parents to Europe or China and get free medical treatment for them and then get their doctors to write a quick request to their Immigration Office to permit the rest of the family to gain entry w/out docs so they can visit the sick relatives and never leave.
Good luck with the bible. I follow the U.S. constitution and it's amendments and laws created as a result of the same. |

Passage Romans 13:7:
7Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.
Passage Exodus 18:20:
20Teaching them the decrees and laws, showing them the way they must walk and the work they must do.
Passage Exodus 20:15:
15You shall not steal.
umm. Is it right to have your identity stolen? Is it alright to have someone stealing from you? Is it. No i do not think so. We have laws to obey by. If it is to hard for you or any illegals to understand please go back to school. |

Well, in a way Jesus was an immigrant. His family escaped to Egypt to save His life before he was born. His family was traveling to pay their taxes and He ended up being born in a barn. He traveled extensively throughout His ministry and was kicked out many times. Jesus welcomes everyone with open arms and He also said that if you do it to them you have done it to Me. Without our immigrants we would have no USA. |

Obviously you haven't noticed that illegals seem to have more rights than Americans. I know illegal immigrants and they are really nice and work really hard. However, they are still breaking the law. They are stealing American SS#'s which could really ruin someones identity. No one should be treated poorly. Enforcing our laws and wanting to protect the rights of Americans is not treating immigrants poorly. I'm curious to know your opinion of the 2 border patrol agents and sheriff deputy that are in federal prison for doing their job. That is being treated poorly. |

Depends on what you mean by treating them poorly. I don't think God expects us to cheerfully give more than we can afford to millions of demanding invaders. Why does no one ever ask what God expects from illegals? Are you going to gripe at God for not letting everybody into heaven? It wouldn't be heaven any more if anyone with any attitude could come in just because their relatives are there and hell is too hot. People have to follow the rules (and wait their turn!) to get in there, you know. Don't think for a minute that I am comparing the US to heaven (far from it), but I believe that God understands reasonable rules and limits. Our immigration laws are not as tough as the ones in most other countries. |

In Gods eye I would believe that we are all created equal..but we are govern by laws and the church and states is separate and for this very reason that you ask this question. You cannot ask a Law question and then expect us to answer "in Gods eyes" it just doesn't work. |

Render to Ceasars what is Ceasars, Render unto Gods what is Gods. If the law of the land is so, we have to abide by them. And not help people break them. That doesn't mean we should hurt them, but have our behavior reflect our laws. You can Love your neighbor and be ok at him going to prison for doing wrong. Love your neighbor does not mean that you have to let your neighbor get away with breaking the law. Unless a person is going to be tourtured, murdered or destroyed by going back. We should force them to go back. |

The Bible has nothing to do with it. The key word in your question is "illegal." Last time I checked, illegal means "against the law." What part of "illegal" don't you understand? |

it's even against god law to disobey the laws of the lord and the laws of the land. we get our laws from the bible. read it threw and you will learn this. next time take a religious question to religion section. |

The bible is often interpreted in our best interest, to serve our own agendas.
Jesus was a compassionate man. I doubt that he would ever say "kill illegals now", see them dying and "don't offer help because they broke the law". Jesus forgives and loves ALL, regardless of your status! |

I dont believe in religion persay but i do believe in a higher being. and i also believe people who are "illegal" here are being treated badly. Iv seen it. and people who believe im "illegal" just because im not white, treat me badly. no matter what status you are all people should be treated with respect and dignity. and all of you whom think diffrently, in your heart know what you are doing and that higher being will be the judge in the end. I can't defend illegal immigrants lawfully because it is a crime. but i can say that there not here with intent on offending or upsetting anyone. there here to survive cause they couldnt survive where they were from. who are we to deny anyone a better life if they can have it. yes, they did illegally cross here but they were desperate. there not here with intentions of breaking laws, or hurting anyone.please understand that and stop harsh behaivior. a criminal should be someone who made INTENTIONALLY robbed or hurt some one, you cant assume that just because they are illiegal there here to be criminals. there here to survive. thats it. God will be the judge in the end and know he will not be happy on seperation just because "illegal" immigrants didnt pay taxes. |
