Many Latinos are catholic and don't believe in birth control so they have lots of kids, which eat up our school funding dollars

You see less Caucasian kids because their parents only have as many as they can afford. They don't keep making them out of whimsy. Quantity does not equal quality.

You like that JD? My mom used to say it when I'd take 24 credits a semester and only make the Dean's list.

Elementary Schools- yes. High schools- if they don't have day care centers, no. Most get pregnant by the time they turn 15- and many drop out before they graduate.

P.S. I know a girl who has nine other siblings in her family yet her two older sisters (One is 16; the other is 15) both have children. Her oldest brother also got his girlfriend pregnant twice. (I wonder who is paying for those four children....?) They are illegals...living in a three bedroom house....and only the father works.... Thus is one reason why I don't doubt most statistics that are very "anti-illegal." Now, for all of you pro-illegals: Please tell me how these people are "good for America."

Your point is?! Hmm.. isn't that a good thing that they are being educated?! Don't come with the illegal topic - just by seeing they are Latino doesn't mean you automatically can tell they are here illegally. Don't you have something better to do than see how many latinos are on the school buses?

Yes!!! I heard on the news a couple of years back, about one town that actually sent the school bus to WAIT for them at the border!!! Some news person shot footage of the ILLEGALS kids swarming across the border to get on those buses!! I think they said, like 70%-80% of kids in that school were illegals kids from across the border!!! This is ridiculous!!!

I do not look people as another race, only people. My schools used to have alot of hispanic kids but they were all legal as well as their parents. Don't think deporting all illegals will make the hispanic group tiny again. Many many generations are here legally or the children they had here are already old enough to be independent here.

The reason is cause libs think that because Mexico is a s#%@ hole we should let them ALL cross the border to the land of the free and ignore the people that have been working for years just for a chance to come to this country and at the same time use them for slave labor....paying them half of what they would pay a legal citizen that has to pay taxes.

Swamped would not be the best word. Latinos are definitely more prominent in schools across the country. What I do see less of are Caucasian students. It could be that they are moving farther away from the cities, going to private schools, or homeschooling them. I think the more proper question should be, where is the diversity of our public schools going? (I work at a predominantly Latino populated school, so I am not completely coming out of left field here.)
