Of course people care. 78% of americans are anti illegal aliens. Is it in the top 3 things they are worried about? FOr some (Me!)--yes. For others, perhaps not.
This recession has hit many americans hard and they are worried about getting and keeping jobs, healthcare and their homes. If they aren't banging the drums about immigration it is because they are threatened within 6 inches of their noses.
Other Americans, like myself, are secure and can have a longer term vision and horizon to assess our strengths as a country and our vulnerabilities.
Illegal alien criminals make us quite vulnerable indeed. |
