I live in a village (UK)population agout 7,000,and its 100% white,and i hope it stays that way...i probably get thumbs down for this but i`m not bothered.

Please dont get us started, the other day ILLEGAL immigrants held a protest march the mother f***ers. Why they didn't cast a net over them and chuck them out I have no idea.
A number of countrys with weaker economys than our own recently joined the EU allowing them to travel in England unhindered, the number of them is astounding, I'm not against immigration but it was like opening a floodgate.

A large number of the people that come here work very hard and I dont hate them. I just hate the fact that people are afraid to fly the St. Georges cross in England for fear of retribution or legal action because someone thinks its "Racially offencive" whilst there are people meeting to burn it publicly in central London, Hyde park.

Hate me if you want I spoke my mind.

When I was 10 (40 years ago) the first "asian" started at our school and he was the only non white is our class, he sat next to me and we were great mates.

30 years later my niece attended the same school and she was the only white in the class.

So yes I for one have noticed a dramatic change.

Despite the propaganda from politians and media constantly telling us of the great contribution cultural diversity has made to our country I know which is better.

the uk has changed since i first started school in 1962 i remember the first coloured family who moved into our area they were a total scream,they had us in stitches with the things they did andgot up to,but we welcomed them and stood up for them,they all went and worked hard for a living and never ever scroonged of the dole,they didnt take to fools gladly,but then came those damn middle class woolly headed twits who started all this pc crap,this is how we are filled to over flowing with foriegn people,if we went to stay in a muslim state and said that we were ofeended by islam we would have our heads hacked off for our trouble yet we ban kids xmas partys so not to offend,take down decorations etc pure numptys,a muslim shopkeeper told me he isnt offended by xmas as islam sees jesus as a prophet only holes+*** ppl with their pc crap offend,ban pc,just be british like we used to and show the world what we can do without mr student saying oh wow thats so un pc well heres some un pc kicks up your jacksie ya lazy good for nothing mooching student

Yes, i have noticed a few changes, like politicians will say Britain is a ''multicultural" society, which basically means it has been buggered up. :)

In Glasgow there's a lot of Polish people all of a sudden (for the obvious reasons) and I notice a much larger African community.

However, the biggest change in our cultural make up appears to be in born and bred, white Britons. There seem to be alot more benefit junkies and skanky teenage mothers than before. We are turning into a nation of white trash.

I've lived here in England all my Life but I regularly travel around the country. For the most part towns and villages are pretty much 100% white British. The hotspots which attract immigrants are the places with money, major cities like London and Birmingham. But then, who would want to emigrate to a village unless you were already rich?

There are small clusters dotted about in a few places but the major distribution of ethnic communities is in major cities. I live in Walthamstow (north east london) and travel to central london each day. On average I'd say about 40% of the people I see are white British. 32 Miles away where my mother lives in Kent I've never seen anyone who wasn't white.

Which is quite a shock when you live there and then start Uni in London. I don't mind the mixed community, everyone deserves the same chances in life. But I must admit, there are some places (any local food places to me) where language is frequently a real barrier.

Yes, we have experienced this very acutely, we live in a brand new area - all new build in London.

The oldest houses are 7 years, but the majority are between 1-2 years. West Africans,Nigerians have decided to move in en masse, mostly influenced by the fact that the builders sold to fraudulant Nigerian buyers (who stole identities of others to purchase the properties) and so many of them are renting - a lot of which rent is paid by the government in housing benefit.

When they started moving in spring 2006 there was a huge change - crime, unsociable behaviour, urinating up against peoples homes at all times, gangs of young Nigerian men hanging around the corners intimidating women, dumped cars, dumped bags of rubbish, mail going missing and subsequent bank fraud, parties at all hours, vandalism to the buildings and gates etc, I could go on and on. I never had a strong opinion about this group before having to put up with a year of pure hell and the appalling behaviour I have seen from the individuals in this area. None of this is exagerration, I wish it was.

For anyone thinking this is just about a couple of families or so it is not - it is something echoed throughout the whole area, and even the parcel service don't like to deliver as they are often met by a Nigerian with a whole set of documents/ids in various different names, they like all of us are sick of the fraud and crime.

Their behaviour has had the effect of dropping the value of the properties down by Â£20,000 - Â£40,000.

yes to your question, but its not the colour of the skin that's the problem, its more to do with political policies that make me a stranger in my own country, here in the UK government policies make it illegal to not give an immigrant a job,house welfare health care and education, where as I'm treated like a second class citizen and my rights have been eroded so much so that i no longer have any rights in my own country.
In the US at least you have politicians who are prepared to speak out against immigration, here they are like a load of sheep and just follow the herd, too afraid to speak out in case it costs them votes, plus the British voter is only interested in their own little world and refuse to see the bigger picture, and what their apathy will results in. I'd also like to add, that here in the UK we are expected to change our cultures and ways so as not to upset these immigrants, why ? surely if you go to live in another country, you accept their ways and don't expect them to change to suit you again Government policies, and P.C. !!

In the UK its eastern European mainly polish, (50,000 a month at present!)Culturally No, i mean they only come here to work. but i think its had a massive impact on my life. i mean i only got my job because the polish guy never turned up for it, and me and my fiance live with my parents because there is no where to live whithin our price range(not sure if you know but house prices in UK have soared because of the migration. $440,000 average house price at mo). I have 'noticed' the bad attempts at subliminal racism that s clear n such remarks.

What difference does it make, white, Asian, African, Hispanic, and where you see people as people, all people, why would you only note changes in colour.

Change happens, and where one lives in a mobile and culturally diverse world, then all neighbourhoods become more or less colourful than before.

Grasp it, and in the same way that culture, books or cinema from around the world adds to the wealth of culture around us.

Grasp it, with joy, excitement, interest and not childish fear.

.I lived in an very Irish part of London. I am from Africa and was welcome to this community with out people saying I want to keep it 100% white . We had the Irish. the Welsh, the English ,the Scots and people from nearly half the world living , loving , greeting and smiling .It is not the color or race of the people but individual quality and up bringing.

Your question is not easily answered. It assumes that we British (dominated by England, that is) HAVE a culture in the first place. If so, 'what IS British culture' ?????

Nobody has the slightest idea. Perhaps the moronic mass of the UK can be described as 'bluenecks' - people who know little more than how to lean on a pub counter and cheer for Manchester United. People who read the trash tabloid journals and who are perfectly happy that the UK still has no written Constitution. Yet they vote for Party A or Party B forever. These are the same people who know virtually nothing of British history and who become paranoic whenever they see foreigners doing menial jobs.

Britain, the world's greatest colonial power, has accepted lots of foreigners to live in its island. Great. That too is only fair, yes, in view of historical colonisation. Payback time.

The most dramatic change (as you can imagine) are those fools who support fascist type politics in the UK. Those who blame the UK's problems on foreigners.

And I speak as a British person born in Britain. Somebody who is ashamed that my country is its own worst enemy. True culture is toleration. I do not think British culture exists.

Change is the norm, people living in other parts of the world,like Dubai etc may be feeling the same thing. it is OK for whites to immigrate wherever they like and displace the natives, but it is not OK if it is vise verse
