There will always be someone to help you. Try asking a doctor for advice, or a religious leader like a Priest, Rabbi, or Imam. People like this will always help - they should give you advice and information.
Here are some websites to look at:
http://www.iasuk.org/
http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/index/your_rights/immigration/help_with_immigration_problems.htm
http://www.multikulti.org.uk/en/immigration/help-with-immigration-problem/
I hope things go well for you.
I would like to remind anyone who has made a rude comment to the nice lady who asked this question that Christmas is coming up and I hope that you can find kindness in your hearts for a pregnant woman. Or is there no room in the inn of your heart? |

As far as I know, if you're not a UK british national then you won't be entitled to NHS treatment for free or state benefits. Have you considered adoption? This might be the only option sadly if you are not financially able to keep the baby. Alternatively it might be an option to return to your home country to claim healthcare and benefits there. |

I personally think you are trying to make someone feel sorry for immigrants that get pregnant. The real question is, Are you legal or illegal? Either way it doesn't matter because the hospital can't turn you down when you go into labor. Word of advice, if you can't support yourself, then keep the men out of your pants. It aint that hard. Pregnancy is not an illness or disease, it is a choice. You obviously aren't having that much financial trouble, you have a computer with the internet and your spelling and grammar are accurate. I still think you're faking it. |

Go back to your own country and get them to support you. Why should we? What do you contribute to our society????
Go Home |

Last time I checked..being pregnant was a choice.
Being pregnant is a self allowed condition not a disability or an illness.Get a job a lot of pregnant women work while they are pregnant. Why cant you ?
You seem to have had a "little" help getting pregnant, get your help from him/them whom ever.My heart is filled with the thoughts of the truly needy, the ill the in firmed, the real needy people not someone who allowed herself to conceive a child she cant take care of.My inn and my heart have no vacancy signs posted all over them. |

It is such a shame that it was too late. How sad the baby will now be born to a mother that clearly doesn't think sensibly. I think you must return to your country where you will get all the help you need. It is wrong of you to expect another country to fund your living needs. How do you pay rent? Or are you on the streets. Poor child. (The baby I mean). |

Why should your host country support you.
Get the father of your baby to give you money. |

Apply for U.S, citizenship AFTER going back where you came from and do it legally.I may seem to be hard hearted, and unfeeling, but I'm a firm believer in "You made your bed,now sleep in it".No one should blame something,or someone else for their problems. |

If you are telling the truth, then you need to go to a church or place of worship for help. They will help you with what you need, and they can help find a couple to adopt the baby since you have already tried to "get rid of it" and clearly do not want it. I know my church helps people in similar situations.
I wish you the best of luck. |

I guess you should have used birth control first- It is free at your local health department.
I suppose your poor choices have put you in a fine mess- haven't they? Next time think first. |

If you are an immigrant you are receiving support from NASS.
What are you trying to do here? |

Try getting a job or go home and let your family help. |

As you are not entitled to public funds you will not be able to claim any benefits. I assume that you have not been granted asylum but are here either illegally or on a visa with limited rights. I assume that you are not able to work either? If not, you are in a difficult position. One of the voluntary organisations dealing with immigration may be able to give you more advice: http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/index/your_rights/immigration/help_with_immigration_problems.htm#National_organisations_which_can_help
Are you accessing antenatal care? Do you have a midwife? If not, you must seek medical help. If you don't have a GP, you can get some basic advice from your nearest walk-in centre http://www.nhs.uk/England/NoAppointmentNeeded/WalkInCentres/Default.aspx or from NHS direct http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/ |

Assuming this request is valid. The city hospital will never turn you down for aid, once that child is born. It's a shame you can't seek anything before the chilid is born but that the way the system works, anyone could run game and say I need help. |

You and the rest of your Kind totally Piss me off - you creep into our Country and then Whinge - Whine and Scrounge off us as much as Possible - the Begging Bowl permanently on Display -- get the "Father" of your baby (that's if you know who he is) to face up to his responsibility , or is he Scrounging off us as well ??? |

Sweetie, later on you will be glad that you weren't able to get rid of the baby--that seemed like a desperate attempt, by a desperate girl who was turned down for help. So don't worry about that now, you have enough on your plate.
First, you should contact the father of the child--if there is no help there, you are not out of options. Even though you are an immigrant, you should still be able to find work (even if you are washing clothes or cleaning a house, or being a companion to an elderly person). A job will help you pay for the things you will need, in order to be prepared for a child. Wait until after you get a job to think about whether or not you want to place the child up for adoption. That decision should not be made now--wait until you are in a better state of mind, for your sake, and the child's. If you are religious, do find a church or community center. They do not discriminate against immigrants, and very rarely will turn anyone away without giving them direction on where else to go, at least.
Lastly, do not listen the the abusive language used by some of the other posters on here. If they were ever even in a country other than that of their birth, they certainly haven't been in that many. No worldly person actually feels that way. Everyone knows that there are countries out there where you are just as likely to be shot as you are to starve to death, and people who post things like that just choose to ignore the reality of world events. Ignore them. Best of luck, and congratulations. Everything will be fine. |

Are you in UK? Are you an immigrant with or without visa?
If you are in UK illegally, unfortunately you are not entitled to NHS treatment. However, if you are in UK legally with visa (visitor excluded) you can still get NHS treatment, but still can't receive public fund, such as housing benefit, job seekers allowance and so on. But there are some exceptions. I don't remember about child support though, so you might still be able to get some money for the child and milk token...but you have to check that.
Contact Immigration Advisory Service and Citizens Advise Bureau. They should be able to give you some useful information.
Good luck. |

If you are pregnant, nobody can deny you and your baby care. Ask to be seen by social worker in any hospital. Let them know you are pregnant. |
