HI FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE IMMIGRATION PROCESS, MY HUSBAND HAS AN INTERVIEW FOR A CR1 VISA IN JUNE OF 2009 AT THE JERUSALEM CONSULATE. EVERYTHING IS GOING GOOD SO FAR . I DO HAVE AN "INCOMPLETE" AVIDANT OF SUPPORT, I-864 AND I-864A, WHICH I JUST NEED TO FORWARD TO HIM BEFORE HIS INTERVIEW, BECAUSE I NEED TO MAKE A FEW CORRECTIONS HERE AND THERE, ANYWAYZ, MY TAX RETURNS FOR 2007,06 AND 05 WERE PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED AT THE END OF THE 2008 YEAR. NOW IM WORRIED THAT AT THE INITIAL INTERVIEW THEY MIGHT ASK TO SEE MY 2008 TAX RETURNS??? BUT IVE ALREADY SUBMITTED MY RETURNS FOR THE YEARS STATED AND IF THEY WANTED THE TAX RETURNS FOR 2008 THEY WOULD HAVE SENT FOR THAT........ WHAT DO YOU THINK, DO YOU THINK AT HIS INTERVIEW THATLL BE A PROBLEM????? AM I JUST BEING TOO PARANOID????

I don't think it will be a problem. If they will ask for it and if he doesn't have it, I don't think it affect any decision.
I was petitioned by my fiance thru a fiancee' visa. During the interview, they just flipped through the stack of paperwork, they have such a limited time to check every tiny detail.
Just take a deep breathe and trust that it will all be fine.
But then again, if you have your 2008 tax return and can somehow send it to your husband then that won't hurt at all.

we went thru c r 1 an all they asked for was evidence that showed we spent time together such as pics before an after marriage also proof of support as for tax records you should be able to get a copy from the place that prepared them be a great idea to take a copy with you when you go to interview ours was very simple due to all of our proof asked 1 question only an approved good luck |
