I asked a question about my expired alien resident card and everyone said i had lost my residence card because it was expired for 3 years and i have been out of US for 4 years...
WTF does what i found meen?? can i just go back to us an renew my Resident card?...

Why do you not just try to come here legally and not rely on some loophole?
A loophole is a flaw in the law that has been over looked and has yet to be rectified! |

READ CAREFULLY:
If you are out of the country for 6 months you lose your "continuous residence" for citizenship and have to start from 0.
If you are out of the country for 1 year without a reentry permit you lose your green card.
If you are out of the country for 2 years with or without a reentry permit you lose your green card.
You have been out of the country for over 2 years. You have therefore lost your rights to have a green card.
If you had stayed in the US you could renew your green card but you didn't so it is lost.

The expired card is one issue. It would have merely meant the document showing your status was expired, not the status itself.
You being out of the US on the other hand means you have abandoned your status as permanent resident of the US. Not even a card that's still valid for 10 years would change that. |

2nd and 3rd people are totally right.. and a loophole is weakness that allows a system (like law) to be avoided;a strategy used 2 go against the law.
and as the other people said it before, by leaving the U.S for such a long time, you abandoned your status. I believe you have to start from scratch.
