While I believe there is a large enough body of evidence to believe there's something worth investigation, I do not think there is enough hard evidence to prove anything about them or their origins.

No, I've not seen incontrovertible proof of aliens.

I have also made the same conclusions about ghosts. There's enough evidence to concude there is something worth further investigation, but not enough to conclude anything else about the phenomena.

Mermaids just don't have enough evidence to warrent further investigations at this time.

I am mindful of the fact that there may be a large part of the universe that we are not even aware of yet. Ancient egyptians did not know electromagnetism existed and had no means of measuing it anyway. But that does not mean electromagnetism did not exist back then. Same too with phenomena modern science cannot explain. Just because we cannot measure it yet does not neccessarily mean it does not exist. Nor does it mean it does. We need a means of measuring it before we can say anything about it - one way or another.

I believe in extra-terrestrial aliens, I just don't believe any have ever visited Earth. Mostly because there is absolutely no proof any ever have.

It would be completely ridiculous and idiotic for someone not to believe in aliens, HOW THE HELL ARE WE THE ONLY LIVING THINGS IN THE ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM?????? there are many galaxies my theory is theres a planet like earth in every galaxy, not identical but with life. When the buggers stop hiding and make their presence known to the whole of humanity, people will believe.

The main problem though is that the majority of people who have had any form of contact with aliens are believed by other people to be fruitcakes, bonkers, nuts, liars, deluded or just plain weird.

Mind you, there is no proof that they don't exist so perhaps most people will at least admit the possibility of their existence. That should be enough until they come out of the woodwork so to speak.

It's going to take a great deal more than the "proof" of photos and statements regardless of their source for the rest of us to believe. Most I think will desist in their stubbornness only when an alien taps them on the shoulder...

In the meantime, perhaps you could pass a message on to your little mates and tell them that I think they shouldn't ignore us Aussies.

I believe in aliens, because I am one - illegal alien but I don't have antennas and i do look like a US citizen. lol! People can't tell that I am an alien till my husband picks me up from work with his UFO.
