A man suspected of being an illegal immigrant pleaded guilty today to charges that he fatally shot a 14-year-old honors student aboard a Montgomery County transit bus in Silver Spring, officials said The shooting last fall fueled a debate that led to a new policy for how Montgomery police handle potentially illegal immigrants.

Hector Hernandez, 21, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Tai Lam. State guidelines call for Hernandez to receive a sentence of between 15 and 45 years, prosecutors said.

About a month before the Nov. 1 shooting, Hernandez was arrested for possession of a switchblade and threatening a student at Northwood High School in Silver Spring. His status as an alleged illegal immigrant went undetected at the time.

Since that time, Montgomery police have adopted a policy of referring to immigration officials the names of all suspects arrested for violent crimes and handgun offenses.

So because of the Montgomery police a citizen of the United States is DEAD. Those cops should be hung by their balls. They should have to do the prison sentence that was given to the murderer as his accomplice.

This is just more proof of what I've stated on yahoo many times before, and I have been given many violations and suspensions for saying this before, laws in America are only for the cowardly Americans too follow. The police and our government won't ever force la raza, the chosen race, to obey any law this country has.

Why do I call Americans cowardly? Because we won't either stand up together and demand that the racist illegal alien border criminal racist messicon pig virus carriers get DEPORTED NOW, or stop obeying Americas laws ourselves.

Edit: quick read this before yahoo deletes it because it is in favor of unlimited immigration. Yahoo is one of the largest employers or "immigrants" of any corporation in America. Look up the numbers on Wikipedia under corporations that employ H1b visa immigrants. Yahoo has it's lobbyist scream at congress every year to increase the number of "immigrants" it get to import. Yahoo wouldn't hire you or I or any American. But yahoo wants Americans to buy all the crap they advertise on their web page.

It's obvious some police don't know how to do their jobs.It doesn't matter if he was illegal or not.What matters is that this man be sent to prison for murder!Seems like some people these days do not care when somebody has died, they only seem to care about their legal status.That is really sad!

So now you are attacking our Police enforcement and saying that they aren't doing their job? WOW! the more questions you ask, the more UN-AMERICAN you are becoming. These people risk their lives on a daily basis day in and day out, and you'd sure be glad that they arrive on time to any life threatening situations when you need them. But having them enforce immigration laws changes this. Please stop insulting our Police officers and find someone else to blame.

this is why the police should be able to do their job and check status of everyone they come into contact with. know because the gov. ties their hands, someone else is dead by another illegal. why are these not considered hate crimes.
