Housing Illegal Aliens in Ireland?

A housemate of mine has an American Girlfriend. Her visa has expired for living in this country, and she has moved in with us. Im not comfortable with this current arrangement as 1.) the house isnt big enough to support three 2.) housing an illegal alien isnt for me. Does anyone know the laws regarding illegal aliens in Ireland?

you need to talk to your housemate and tell him that you are not happy with the situation because she is illegal and that if he wants to live with her he should think about moving out or not have her move in. it shouldn't be too hard to find someone else.

i don't know but you yourself could also be liable because you are aware of the situation which makes you an accessory and in agreement with harbouring an illegal.


by the way Americans aren't aliens though some might dispute that.

hi mike, if the person in question has no visa she is classed as an illegal immigrant. if caught you could be harboring an illegal immigrant,and if found guilty a prison sentence
