B) Americans won't take a job for 3 bucks an hour, its not even minimum wage. If they got paid decent they would do it.
C) Stop playing the race card, PLEASE!!! I have friends of all races, and have never complained about their ethnicity. However, I do complain about criminals. If people didn't, we would live in anarchy.

Our economy would NOT go down the drain at all and yes we will lose hard-working people, but those people should have come here 'legally' to come here to work. Instead, they broke our laws, period! Businesses will just have to find more people who can fill these jobs like they always do. You think that people will not do these jobs, I have to say you are wrong there too.

I think you need to change your perception and really get a grip on reality. You see, the people who are here 'illegally', are criminals who broke the laws of our country. If they want to do something right, then they should all go back to where they came from and come to this country LEGALLY.

Don't support 'illegal' crimes, because you will be as guilty as they are if you do. Oh, and please change your mentality.

Why on earth would you think that? We would simply return to the way it was when I was young. As a kid I earned money by mowing peoples lawns and doing odd jobs. Kids now days can't do those things because illegals took the jobs.

There was no collapse of the economy then now was there? There are basic economic principles involved that will solve the problem--called Supply and Demand.

You know - we survived fine BEFORE they all came here. I think that we will be fine WHEN they leave.

Pat Riley (NBA coach) refers to this mentality as "the disease of me" - basically, it is the belief that the ones that do 20% of the work feel they do 80%. He also goes on to state that EVERYONE - from the CEO of a company on down - is replaceable. There may be some "hard times", but the human way is to persavere.

I think we will do just fine.

By the way - I live here in Wisconsin, and I drove by some hay fields the other day - when we had the 98 degree heat going - and didn't see one dam "immigrant" out there slinging those hay bails onto the wagons. I saw a lot of farmers older than your father (I'm assuming) doing the work, along with a good amount of Wisconsin farmhands. All were caucasian - didn't see a hispanic among them. I think the farmers up here in "cheesehead land" will survive just fine.

How, exactly, is the economy going to "go down the drain" when most of these people aren't even paying taxes? One can't file with the IRS without a social security number, therefore it's easier to get paid under the table and send the money back to family out-of-country. Currently their home country is benefiting most from our very own system, and THAT'S the problem here.

Don't even get me started about what they're doing to our health care system. I bet you love paying those high premiums for them though, don't you.

Hard working, you say, to bad you wasn't here today. I was driving down the street, there were 3 of them, working for the city I assume. All standing around leaning on a shovel, smoking cigs and watching to make sure the boss wasn't coming. I know a guy that has a landscaping business and just fired 4 of them for stealing his tools and showing up for work anytime they felt like it.
