How are the illegal immigrants paying taxes?

Are Americans supposed to FEEL SORRY for illegal aliens that "supposedly pay taxes" and don't get their money back?

In the first place, we ALL know this is a crock...the VAST MAJORITY work under the table...easy for the employer, he has to pay no benefits, gets to pocket A LOT of money, the illegal alien doesn't have to worry about any of his money going "down the drain" for taxes he can't claim at the end of the year.

If the illegal alien is working with a FAKE or STOLEN ID and pays taxes with that....who's gonna feel sorry for that??

Even if an illegal alien did get a TIN #....which is a tiny percentage of the illegal aliens here....the majority of them live in states that are STATES that tax income....this has NOTHING to do with STATE income tax.

Yes, actually i know because my husband pays taxes and he is illegal. The IRS will issue you a number to pay into your taxes. It does state that its for tax paying purposes only, does not give the right to work but of course why else would you have it if you werent working....doesn't make any sense but he does report taxes with me using that number issued by the irs when he came here.

My parents have a ss# that they got when we came on a tourist visa, and its legal theyre just not supposed to work on it. And they have been paying taxes ever since we came, with no benefits.

They can and have been paying income taxes and the dirty little secret our government does not want you to know is that they have been collecting from some illegal immigrants for years at least since the 1990's.
They do it this way
The IRS issues them a number not a social, but one specifically to collect taxes from them. It is called an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN). This is something the government has been doing since the 1990's.
So while some have been up in arms about them not paying into the system and just taking, wake up, they have been paying and not just sales tax. Don't get me wrong, some have not been but as soon as some of them found out that they could, they have been.

If they are working, taxes are deducted from their paychecks just like everyone else.

If they are renting a place, property taxes are figured into the rent they pay, just like everyone else.

If they have no resident status, they don't file IRS forms....

If they buy anything, they pay the same sales tax as everyone else.

They do not get food stamps, welfare or other social benefits...these benefits require a massive amount of paperwork, home visits and proof of citizenship.

The only thing they might receive gratis is medical care. They are not insured and usually go to the emergency room when they are sick. Hospital staff treat them whether they are insured or not and whether or not they can pay. --- But, then, so do 43 million American citizens who have no health insurance....they do the same thing.

Lay off the Mexicans. Government doesn't care and hasn't cared for over 60 years....big business, agribusiness and others depend on this cheap labor force and the Government knows it. They will NEVER do anything about it.

The bill that was sent up recently is bull. It has no teeth. It will not work.

Undocumented immigrants DO pay taxes through either a tax ID number or a fake green card, SS card, or fake ID card. Do you honestly think Mcdonalds, or Dennys are going to pay their bus boys or kitchen workers under the table? They most absolutely do pay taxes and many of them DON'T COLLECT ANY MONEY BACK! FACT!

.I guess i can tell u because everybody got it wrong it s true illegal immigrants pay taxes. in some states they are allow to get a TIN # tax identification number issue by the federal government known as IRS. the SAMe organisation who takes your taxes mine and every working person illegal or legal in this country not counting SS deductions FICA STATE TAX etc. you name it. what our government does not tell us is were the money that he collects from individuals who can t obtain a social security # or a TIN # were all this money go. people without this type of document they don't claim their taxes. they cant i hope this have answer your question now lets do some math about 10,000 per year on deductions unclaimed. multiply by about 20 million people then multiply by 20 years when the last amnesty took effect a lot of money. ignorant people continue saying Mexicans and illegals are stealing from America when in fact government is stealing from Americans but as long as the strong minded is on the power he can always control little people like us and pull our strings pointing fingers and creating hate between regular naive civilians like us.o and Uncle sam don t get mad of me i just had to tell about the money you put in your back pocket.

They don't and yet they use our schools and our hospitals free... that's right FREE and the kicker is that they think we OWE it to them. That's like someone breaking into your house and doing the dishes and saying because they did the dishes, they shouldn't be kicked out for trespassing. It makes me sick.

Everything we do, in America, is taxed, so if they want to drive a car they have to buy gasoline which is taxed, and if they want to use a telephone that service is taxed too, in fact did you know that 100% of the Federal Excise Tax on our phone bills goes directly to support the wars our country is in?

Try buying a taco, in America, and not pay tax, or how about a 12 pack of cerveza?

i know many many undocumented immigrants and i really don't know if any DON'T pay taxes. i know most of them have tax id numbers and do pay taxes.
businesses don't want to be audited so they can't pay all their undocumented employees under the table.
you think all factories who's employees are 50% illegal would really pay them all under the table?

Some do, and some get paid under the table
And that's good for the employer because they doesn't have to claim them either this eliminates workers comp, and insurance, etc.

I said TIN #s are not FOR illegal aliens (they were NOT created for illegal aliens). They were created for resident and non resident aliens...neither of which are ILLEGAL ALIENS.

The health insurance referenced below I am pretty sure is taken care of by those of us that DO pay taxes. I for one AM REALLY TIRED OF PAYING FOR EVERYONE ELSE!! I have no problem with anyone coming to this country LEGALLY and PAYING their own way. This goes for EVERYONE so do not call me racist or unfair. I want equality for everyone. If I pay, you pay. If I do things legally, you do things legally. PERIOD!

In order to pay Federal Income taxes you need a Social Security number. Americans are given that number at birth. Illegals work for cash and that is not reported.
