How can I find out who reported someone to immigration for deportation?

You can't. Laws prevent it. There may not even be any record of it anywhere. If there is a record of it, it would be in one physical location, and, not accessible to people that don't need to know. WOrkers would have no reason to know- so, they wouldn't be able to access it. Social workers used to be put in danger when they would have information such as this. As such, it is unaccessible to everyone. There is no need to know, anyone. IF the person was here illegally, they were breaking the law, and, who reported it is moot.

I agree with Amanda. If the person was in fact an illegal alien criminal, the point is moot. The point is moot regardless, if someone reported someone else. Whether or not the person turns out to be a criminal or not, that information should be private.

I believe HIPAA is related to MEDICAL privacy in the health care industry.But I do believe there is some law related to this issue also.

If it's anonymous, then that means it is put on the record as anonymous, which means there is no name on record, which means no one knows who reported it. That's the whole purpose of anonymous reports. The purpose of this is to keep people like you from finding out. Give it up, you will never find it.

There is no way if you are indeed illegal. If you are legal and someone reports you for spite that changes things considerably.But an illegal person doesn't have the right to face their accuser as a citizen does.

There is no way to find that out! If you do, let me know so that I can shake his or her hand for doing so. That's a true American to me. All illegals should be and will be deported soon. True Americans have already spoke on this subject. We will never accept amnesty for illegals.

ICE allows for Anonymous tips,and will not tell others who made a report. Which is a good thing for those of us who report any such activity when the opportunity arises.

I wanna report a couple of them and a bussines also but I have heard from some people that ICE wouldn't do anything about it so if it's like that then what's the point of reporting? In fact one of my friends reported one 8 months ago and nothing has happened so I don't know if It's worth it or if it would just be a waste of time. So my question is for you guys that have reported... has it worked at all for u?
