How can I help my Boyfriend?

He's 22 years old and when he came to the U.S. he was 5. Now he's in a holding cell for being illegal. He doesn't know too much about his country because he spent most his life here. Is there anything we can do or apply for to get him to stay? It was beyond his control to come here and I don't think he was to aware of the situation at hand please help.

As long as he has no criminal history he can apply for a waiver since he had no control over his parents actions. However he must show " good moral character" so no mugging old ladies, no stealing, cheating, DUI's, or dating minors. So I hope your 18. |

Where's the rest of the story? He isn't in a holding cell for being illegal only is he? Because frankly I've not seen that happening. He's done something else and they discovered he was illegal. Most likely something violent if deporting him is the option vs jail time. How can you help him? Forget him and move on that's how. |

There is nothing you can do, marriage will not keep him here if that's what you have in mind. He will be rightfully deported and banned. Hopefully you've learned a valuable lesson about dating people who break the law. |

I'm sorry about your boyfriend's situation. However, there is nothing you can do to help him. He has entered illegally whether he had choice or not and he has lived in US illegally. He will be most likely get deported and banned to enter US for long time. |
