Reporting a law breaker is NEVER a bad thing. If I were in Mexico robbing someone I would hope that someone would call the cops on me. That's not snitching!
Here's what you do: Call the cops, report the illegal, and write down the name of the officer you talked to. Call back in a week and ask for the person you talked to originally. Identify youself and ask what the status is on the illegal. If he/she hasn't done their job or if they "claim" that they can't discuss a case ask to speak to the next person in the chain of command. Repeat step one until the perpetrator goes away.

In the first place, the illegal aliens are not all bad, but there are incredibly bad illegal aliens. You can get yourself killed very, very easily. And the bad guys who do that look so clean cut it is amazing.
You call the police on a non-emergency number, and ask them. If they tell you to forget it, ..do ..exactly ..that.
If the police tell you to call Immigration, then do that, and put it out of your mind. Save your own life.. don't interfere.
Finally, keep this in mind, and very carefully keep this in mind. The illegal aliens who sell dope do not want you to do that, and those are the ones that will kill you. |
