How can people say that all illegal immigrants are criminals?

Criminal is a very big word for people who, most of them ( I am not talking about the gangsters like Marasalvatrucha and similar, or the drug dealers. Those are an entirely different species ) , only want to live better and a better future for their children.

Besides, when the British colonists came here, I seriously doubt that any of them had visas from the Native American authorities.

Those were real criminals, according to the damage they did to Nature and to the Native Americans, but nobody bad mouths them. I wonder why

Illegal immigrants are breaking the law and they are responsible for their children. It's one thing to break the law, but to receive social services is wrong. I realize our government should have stopped it all when they had the chance. Americans are spending billions of dollars for illegals, but we don't get anything free and we are citizens. You have to admit there is something with that picture. I have hope that the illegals go back to Mexico and make a difference there, now that they have knowledge have the ability to work the system in a democratic society.

According to the dictionary, a person who violates the law is a delinquent, an offender. A criminal is somebody who killed somebody.

Besides, according to the definition given by some experts here, in the XIX century, those who liberated slaves from their masters and took them to the North, would be violating the law as well.

Its stupid everyone thinks they can just blame every bad thing on illegal immigrants just because they are illegal. Not all of them are bad, they just have one bad thing on their shoulders and that's: they came here illegally.

Legally, the children that were brought here under 18 years old aren't considered to have committed a criminal act, and, aren't help responsible for their presence in this country until after the turn 18.

Those under 18 have not accrued unlawful presence under INA Section 2l2(a)(9)(B) , but they do not have a right to stay unless their parents are legalized. Under current law, they are deportable if they are likely to become a public charge. There is bi-partisan support of legislaton that would provide for the eventual legalization of those who attended school here from age 16.

Federal law defines illegally entering the United States as a "Crime" punishable by 6 months in jail first offense and as a felony for 2 or more offenses.

Bills are being proposed right now that would prevent children born here to illegals from becoming citizens.

We have the right to protect our borders and choose who we let in. Entering without permission is a violation of US federal law. It is time we enforced this to the maximum. No exceptions.

What part of illegal and being a criminal do you not understand? by nature if you commit an illegal act you are a criminal......if you drag your kid into the act they go to a ward of the court. since they are aliens then they get to go back with there parent to there own backyard and play.

Because they are. Children don't have the means to excuse their parents for crimes. They didn't vote. Parents...adults....are responsible for the children....not children for the parents. Parents are held accountable for the assinine actions of their kids.....Kids pay the price for their parents assinine decisions. Because they are here illegally. That means a crime has been commited. The children are innocent victims of their parents' criminal activity.

In my opinion the children do not become criminals until they reach age eighteen and decide to stay illegally. Unless they become criminals before that age by breaking other laws.

Kids as usual are innocent victims in parental choices. No not ALL illegals are " Criminals" but they have broken a law. Unfortunately it's laws that have gray area's that are hard to prosecute on. Time for some forthright laws that can't be interpreted any way someone feels at the time. Black and white in plain English!
