How can someone enter the U.K after their ex cancelled the 2 year visa?

One of my mate divorced his wife and she went back to her country only to come back 6 months later. The visa is from December 2007 to to June 2009. She has 3 months but the ex Husband cancelled the visa so how did she manage to enter back? can someone sponsor the Woman using the visa from the ex Husband?. Also if they are not living together hasn't she broken the visa rules? or can anybody sponsor anybody even if they have a cancelled visa. Also she is pregnant and expecting in few months but thats a different issue. So how come somebody who stayed in the U.K for 8 months during a 2 year visa went back to her country and then came back 6 months later even when the ex Husband cancaled the visa? what ways can somebody who is divorced come back using a 2 year visa. What's this sponsor thing.

its mistake from ukbia.they just allowed her by seeing her visa expiry date.or ur cancellation not they failed to upload in system.
the story sounds fishy.
u can tell the story to ukba or to the nearest police station,if u want to deport ur wife.
if u r divorced ,her visa become automatically invalid immediately

It is likely that she has a limited UK residence permit in her passport which does not expire until June as you say.

He may have informed the home office of the divorce but the home office can often take many months (sometimes years) to process information.

If her residence permit had not been revoked on the day of re-entry then she would have had no trouble returning with her existing permit.

If it his child then it will be born out of wedlock and therefore the child will not have British nationality.

Your friend cannot cancel her visa. Even if he reported her, she still has a visa that is valid through June 2009. Nobody can change that. That's how she got back into the coutnry

Kind of strange story. I seems she wants to give birth in UK and claim the father is ex husband. I guess the guy should clear up the mess rather soon than late.

The UK is so liberal that anyone can do anything they want, just like in the USA and Canada and get paid for it by the PC government and feckless tax payers.

No-one can cancel a visa, it is very common for a visa to be made perm after a split especially if a child is involved who is a British citizen

Husband can't cancel the visa, because the visa is endored in your mate's passport. She can travel back to UK, prior to it's expiry, I mean before June 2009. No one will stop her entering the UK. Assume you are a Filipino national, if yes, let your mate visit British Embassy in Manila and show her passport to find out if there is any problem traveling on that passport she hold with a valid UK visa.
