I'm a U.S. citizen, so no matter how much I might try to put myself in their shoes, I won't truly know how they feel. I feel very badly for the Mexican people who have it harder than I do. Believe me, that last thing I like to hear about is people living in such horrible conditions. I know if I were in their place, I would come here, too.
But I also know that in order for our country to be a nice place, we can't let EVERYONE in. If we just let everyone in, then there would be more bad people here too. I'm not saying that all Mexicans are bad - far from it, actually. The ones I know are very kind. But I think that if you want to live here, then you need to prove yourself and do it the right way.

To answer Juan, what America does is always a catch 22. If we get involved in anything, we are the bad guys. If we don't, people complain.

People that come here from Mexico that are happy here in America are doing it for the right reasons. People that spread hateful racism and try to incite war are making themselves look stupid and actually making it worse for others that are here that aren't out to harm others.

People do. What we don't listen to are the demands of invaders who won't fight for their own country but come here demanding that my country take care of them.

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come here and fly the flag they ran from in the first place. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come here and spread myths about the USA somehow being "their" land. It wouldn't be so bad if they showed a little gratitude for what the USA is giving them, instead of demanding that the USA owes them.

I'll agree about taking action against Mexico. Mexico has declared a quiet war on my country, and I'm ready to take it to the next level.

I think it would be better if the 11-12 million of the illegals that are here in the U.S. go back to Mexico and fight your government down there! You folks can make a change there and you then can stay down there and help rebuild your own country with your new government. Best of luck!

If the Mexicans who SNEAK into the USA daily would only take the LEGAL routes to get here--there would be no problem-----by trying to cross into America, you are doing something ILLEGAL, what are we SUPPOSED to do? Welcome you with open arms? There are ways to get oppression changed.. but NOT by fleeing ones country and making it more difficult for the people who are in this country LEGALLY.......... suppose Mexico suddenly became the richest country in the world and Americans started jumping rivers, climbing fences and sneaking into YOUR country and they started costing so much money that your riches started to dwindle and diminish---how WELCOME would those Americans be in your country? NOT VERY I bet. ... Listen, we average middle and lower middle class and POOR Americans make up the BULK of the people in America... things in this country are expensive enough ---we don't need a bunch more people crawling into this country without jobs, without insurance, without health care and BEGGING for ours.....fight your battle at HOME, not from OUR homes, until you can come here LEGALLY.

It's Mexico's problem. I don't see why the U.S. is expected to help everyone. If it is so bad there then march in their streets. Marching in the U.S. isn't gonna make Mexico better and it just makes everyone pissed off at you. The big reason why U.S. legislators don't listen to the needs of the ILLEGAL aliens is because they have no respect for America. On Cinco de Mayo, a group of Mexicans tore an American flag off of my friends truck and threw it on the ground. If you want rights in America then quit waving a MEXICAN flag and get yourself some American flag and quit moochin' of the welfare system.
