First of all, anti-illegal does not mean anti-hispanic or anti-minority; it's about respecting the law and coming over here the right way. Blacks are legal U.S. citizens and it affects all U.S. citizens equally when a woman 8 1/2 months pregnant comes over here to have an "anchor baby" (medical expenses and future welfare paid for by tax dollars) or when a Mexican day laborer agrees to work in construction for $3.50 an hour and puts him out of a job.

I don't know your educational level, but you do know that your local library gives out free library cards so that you can read actual books. Oh yeah!, POTENTIAL AMERICANS don't have anchor babies so that you can't deport them. OK, I'm a Black woman, and by no means will I stand by a group of people bent on breaking the law. I live in Texas by the way and like other comments most of the illegals here are Mexican and they are racist towards blacks. They think they are better and by and by I am really starting to not care for them especially after seeing that rally earlier this year with Mexican and other foreign flags being waved around by idiots demanding citizenship when they have so blatantly broke the laws. When are the government leaders in this country going to wake up? We need to stop the law that says if a person is born here they are a citizen, there are so many anchor babies in this state it is unbelievable this law should either pertain to people who are in the process legally to obtaining citizen or just get rid of it as a whole.

I a black woman and feel diversity is a great thing. However, when any nationality comes into the United States without going through the proper channels in order to have the correct paperwork I just feel that you should get your paperwork in order.I also understand your plight because we as black people were forced to come here as slaves back in history. As far as the white man is concerned, they're not going to be happy no matter who's here. I feel that they want everything for themselves. They feel that this country is theirs and theirs alone. And we as minorities have tainted it. Back in the day, when it was just prodominantly whites and blacks, do you think that the white man was happy about that situation? Hell no! We were called the N word constantly outright to our faces. Now when I say back in the day I mean the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and it wasn't until the 70's when blacks had to take a stand to keep the white man off of out backs. So don't feel bad about it. Because very soon, all of this sh!t is coming to a head anyway. And for those who are Hispanic, Asian, Malito other then pure white, just to let you know, if the line ever becomes divided, you all will be standing on the same side as blacks. So for the ones who are out here trying to pass as 100% white and you're not, don't think that those white supremist won't sniff it out. So in essence for right now, just live your lives and try to be a happy as you can on a daily basis. Don't worry about things you can't control. And just keep a good heart. Because I truly believe the cliche about God not liking ugly!

Your circle of friends cannot be very large or diverse, because if it were, you'd find that the VAST majority of white people do NOT hate minorities in the least.

While the redneck ultra-conservatives like Pat Buchanan get all the airplay, illegal immigration is of at least slight concern to everyone because it is ILLEGAL. There should be some regulation in this area, or things will start to get crazy with wages, healthcare, jobs for immigrants who are here legally, etc. No one should get a free pass to enter the US, in my opinion.

Think about it. Who usually takes construction jobs? Black people. Now the Hispanics have come in and start working for less money than the blacks. They HATE each other in Texas, and I assume everywhere else.
