They make a hell of a lot more money than I do, and I work 12 hr. shifts. So get off your f...ing band wagon.

I worked in fields before, done it a big part of my life. I went to collage for agriculture studies, however I left that behind to start a career in maintenance and fabrication. I now work from 8 -12 hours a day, and that's any given day.
Did you know that a lot of agriculture oriented jobs are seasonal ? So how can these people work day in and day out 12 - 16 hours a day when harvest season is done ? |

How long is it going to take you to understand how things work?
I was born here and I went to school here my dad and mom paid taxes here as well. I then went out looking for a job as a teen ager and I worked the fields and washed dishes and mowed lawns and even built a house or two and roofed a few. I went back to school and after a year I started working on cars at a new car lot. I got tired of workign so hard so I finaly got a job in a nice office with cool air in the summer and a nice heater in the winter. I now tell everyone else what to do.
Read and re-read what I just said and try to understand it all.
Being you are not able to understand it I'll explain it.
Get legal. OR You will never have the nice comfy office with the nice easy chair. You are not paying taxes, you are not legal here, you are not helping, you are taking jobs away from our young workers who need those jobs to help pay bills while going to school. We have workers that can not get a job because an illegal worker is working for under min wage or are getting min wage but under the table so the employer don't have to pay taxes or anything else on that worker.

YOU ARE ONE OF THE MOST RIDICULOUS, UNEDUCATED PERSON I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. Or are you just retarded?! More than half of your claims are incorrect (go to http://www.getmycountryback.com and look at "Statistics" and "Articles" if you want to sound like you know what you are talking about). If the sneaky, thieving illegal Mexicans would GO HOME it would give us a chance to put our own citizens, homeless, and out of work people back in those jobs.
The only good thing I can say about the illegals I can say is, they might be very poorly educated, but they are not stupid. They come here with better labor-wage offers than anyone, in order to secure a place in a country they do not belong in. Then, to make up for the low wages, they live 20-deep in a 2 bedroom apartment, stuff 20 people in a van to do yardwork, and get everything else for FREE. Medical, food, public transportation, school lunches, WELFARE, all at the taxpayers expense. That's damn smart if you have no morals.
I suggest you shut up or do a little research before you start shooting off your mouth on here, because believe me there are people who care deeply about the issue and have done their homework. Grow up and fight this like you have some balls (and some brains).
Since you want to get technical, the Native Americans were here first, INDIANS. Mexicans are from MEXICO half-wit, and the pieces that were bought many years ago were bought fair and square. So no matter who was here first, it rightfully belongs to the American Citizens today. What the illegals are trying to do is something my kids like to call "Indian-giving"......only we BOUGHT the territories from Mexico.

i do know how it is to work 12 to 15 hours a day. and they don't pay crap. and i sweat my a SS off more then the men do. chicken processing plants are no fun. so when you eat chicken from Tyson's remember the women are the harder workers getting that chicken out to you and your family. bon appetite. 100 pound tubs are not light when there's nothing but meat in them. |

one i work as a laborer in a factory working 12-16 days at times, only making 10.85 an hour next to a 365 degree over. so wheres your illegals now to take my job?

You cant tell me nothing about working in the fields, I grow my own veggies and no one else helps but me and my hubby. I can everything i need for the winter months. I plant 3 very large gardens..so i say i spend a lot of my time in the field. And on top of that we run a full time business that keeps us busy for about another 80 hours a week..and none of it is comfortable work..I know how hard it is to work in the fields and i actually enjoy it. But now the growing season is over with here in my state so we can now concentrate on our Roofing and remodeling business..See not just illegal immigrants do these jobs..Hard working Americans also do these jobs...
No i dont do it cause i like it.. i do it so we can eat just a little better in the winter months. Its so much cheaper to grow your own produce then to buy it in the stores in the winter months.. do you even understand what is envolved in growing 3 gardens and canning all the veggies that those gardens produce? 100s of hours are envolved in canning and growing food..i would rather spend that time with my family. |

While it's true that I do have a nice cooshie office job I have worked in the fields and processing plants for anywhere between 60 and 70 hours a week so I've been there. If the illegals want better jobs here's an idea BECOME LEGAL! and learn English. English is an absolute requirement where I work. NO SPEAKIE THE ENGLIE NO WORKIE THE JOBIE. |

We work in offices because we go to college to get degrees so we don't have to work in fields for minimum pay. We want the most pay we can get so we can hire you to do our yard work and your wife to scrub our toilets. |
