He could not have traveled to Pakistan and have been an american citizen in 1981. It was not possible due to the laws then as to where americans could travel and who was allowed into Pakistan - guess what - it wasn't Americans. Also, when he went to school there - he had to be a citizen in order to do so according to their laws. Guess he was still a citizen there. Gee - that brings us to the fact that he can not hold dual citizenship and be President. Exactly where is is dual citizenship at though? Could it be with two countries that neither are America?

Who cares??? That shows enormous levels of knowledge - the Constitution cares, that is who - as do PATRIOTIC AMERICANS!

What is the relevance of your inquiry? Are you implying that there was some impropriety in the supposed trip, or are you curious about his mode of transport?

Either way, it was twenty-eight years ago. The world was an entirely different place then, and if Obama passed through Pakistan his method of travel and/or reasons are probably not very relevant.

I was in Pakistan and Iran in the mid seventies, working on a degree in history and a thesis on the effect of Islam on the Persian Empire. At that time I travelled by plane, car, bus and train. Most likely Obama would have done the same thing. I bet we both walked through our shoes as well.

I am not sure you are trying to say here, but I would suggest that there is a statute of limitations on relevance that has definitely expired.

I hope Obama had a better time there than I did. The poverty and ignorance are appalling, and the men treat their women like excrement.

why cant he travel where he wants? Goodness, its over, he's the president, theres nothing you can do. If your racists your just wasting your time and breathe. Why keep getting mad over something that has already happened? Gosh, people are never satisfied. If Obama didn't win I bet you wouldn't be asking all these questions trying to put him down. Same goes for the GLB's, they are mad and trying to fight to get gay marriage legal, if we would have voted yes on gay marriage, the straight people wouldn't have fought it. obamanots could care less if he is a citizen or not.Since Pakistan didn't allow Americans to visit in 1981 he must have used a passport from another country.Or he could have had a special invite form Pakistan.I think it is a question that should be answered.
