My kenyan bf and i discussed getting married but we do not know were to start,he had been here in the UK on a short visa but had to return to kenya to sort a family matters,Does anyone know how to apply for fiance visa and if he can do that from kenya,the costs, paperwork needed etc
If you are married to a kenya your advice would be priceless

Attached are two websites that you will find useful. He needs to apply in Kenya for a fiance visa or marriage visa according to the ukvisa website. I have attached the place he will need to apply. Attached also is a list of the prices in pound sterling but he may have to convert that to the local currency for a rough idea of how much it will cost. Also attached is the list of all the application forms and he needs to use the one that says marriage visa and at the very end of the list is a guide to how to fill that in. The first website for the homeoffice is for you to check out the rules before the application to see if you meet the criteria. I hope this helps. All the very best. |

Hi, You should go to kenya & marry him there, Get documents stamped & take to England and apply for visa for him. Otherwise, get him another tourist visa & marry when he comes to England. he will have to leave England & return with a permanent visa. |
