First you need to get passport that to travel abroad.
Then you need to contact with US embassy in country, where you are now. Here you can find its addresses in most countries in the world:

They will tell you what you need that tp get visa...

The first person is correct about that website. I would add one more thing, though. It is much easier if you have a guaranteed job when you apply. So if you're from a country that is part of the Visa Waiver Program, travel here on the VWP and find a job before you apply for a work visa. That's what my boyfriend has done and he's not had too difficult a time of things. Then again, he is in a high demand field and from Finland - not exactly a hotbed of anti-American sentiment. Plus he's got guaranteed housing with me and I just recently passed the citizenship test. Things like that definitely help. |
