we are financially challenged and very very much IN LOVE!..and we are just at wits end about the time it takes to get a visa and or money...we are getting soooo depressed and we love each other soo much...what can we do?..we are really perplexed..and need help n a bad way..we just dont have a clue as to what to do...please help!

well, as noted, you could file a fiance petition. however, the two of you would have to have met in the past 2 years in order for you to file. not always the case with so many internet relationships these days. as for being financially challenged, if you can't afford the filing fees how will you manage the rest? even if you brought her over on a tourist visa, you'd still have to spend some $1,300 minimum to file the various forms that are required, and that would be assuming she'd actually qualify for a tourist visa. check out www.uscis.gov for more information and forms, and take a look at travel.state.gov and the embassy website at bucharest.usembassy.gov. |

If you are planning on getting married, then you can apply for a fiance visa: however you have time limitations on getting married or her visa will be revoked. It takes a few months to have the visa granted though.
She can also get a greencard (I assume you're a US citizen), if you get married. This takes almost 6 months. |
